The hotel is not located in the center of Gang Nam area and far from the downtown. However, it is close to COEX, and the room rate isn't too expensive. The check in was smooth and quick without any problem. I book an executive room, but it was a room in a higher floor with key excess, but no other... More

Booked this hotel to be reasonably close to The Executive Centre Two IFC and the Ramada was having a promotion on all rooms. Requested early checkin when I booked on line as I was on the redeye from CEB. There was a big discussion about they dont have early checkin...then they charged me 60,000 won and let me have early... This hotel has changed over the years and the clientele is now mostly local Korean than foreign visitor. The upgraded room is very nice. Good firm double bed. By the window, a room length countertop serves as a desk and "putting stuff area". There are sockets on the surface of the countertop for easy electrical access. Yes! There is an... More

I visited here for a conference at the COEX centre. It's about a 20 minute walk away.. I think I was expecting it to be a bit closer.. but I quite liked the walk so that was fine. It's also next to a subway station so exploring the city or getting to where you want to go is also straightforward.... More

Stayed here while attending a conference at the Coex conference centre. Walking distance and right next to the underground station as well. The airport bus KAL 6704 drops you outside the hotel if you come in from out ofbthe country. Comfortable room and an excellent breakfast top it all off.

I may be prejudiced by having had a deluxe room on the top floor, facing the park, but I was very pleased overall, regardless of some of the bad reviews. Must be a renovation going on, starting from the top. Only downside for me is that the executive lounge was closed. Nicely appointed rooms with lots of electronic gadgets, such... More

PRO: - very good connection with the city as the subway station is a 2 minutes walk - also the hotel is covered by one of the shuttles to/from the airport - breakfast was comprehensive, with local and continental choices - staff was helpful CON: -... Very poor facilities. The room was old and needed renovation. Tye noice isolation was terrible. You could here almost everything from next door especially when the kids were screamming. The hotel was way too far from most of tourist attractions. It took almost an hour everyday to go from the hotel to famoust sites in seoul. May be good for... More

The Internet connection is really very poor. The menu in the main hotel restaurant is very limited. I got my bill while I was still eating my main course. The staff in the dining room does not speak much English. The microwaved bread rolls were like rubber. Way over priced for the poor quality. The room temp stays at 24C... More

This hotel was built in the early 90's and it shows. In desperate need of a reno. Room had stained and marked wallpaper. Housekeeping failed to replenish basic bathroom amenities. Only one English speaking channel on TV ( in an 'international business hotel'). Gym well equipped but slippy wooden floor and not once did I see a member of staff... More

Staying in Samseongdong / COEX

Neighborhood Profile
Samseongdong / COEX
A large business hub, Samseongdong is anchored by Korea’s World Trade Center, where many important business exhibitions and meetings are held. The enormous COEX mall sprawls underground, providing a myriad of things to do and see, including a large aquarium and movie theater. For a bit of peace and zen, head over to the ornate Bongeunsa Temple which is one of Korea’s most important places of worship. Or take a stroll nearby through the tranquil royal burial grounds of Seonjeongneung, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
