There are some good reasons here to make me want to come back. For others though, there may be enough reason to stay away. I don't think it's a true 4-star hotel, but more of a 3 1/2 star hotel. I'll break it down by pros/cons below: Pros: - Hotel is conveniently located literally 20 steps from the Seonjeongneung station... More

I went to Seoul for Cafe Show, that took place at COEX Convention Center, it is near to this hotel, it is a beautiful hotel, confortable rooms, average rates, you can take a bus from and to the airport in front the hotel, very good service.

I stay at this hotel during the World Road Congress. The room was good, the staff very kind and always helpful, 15'/20' walking to COEX, the breakfast was good but they need to have a better coffee :) Near a Metro station, Seoul has a very good Metro you can go everywhere.

I slept a night paying ₩90,000 (about $85). Over all It sucks. I could smell cigarette although my room was non-smoking. Also, I could smell mold in bathroom, and heater didn't work properly. Breakfast? AWFUL! I really regret that I chose this 'hotel' even just for a night sleep...

This is close to COEX. The check in was OK without any problem. Room was booked long before but it was 12th floor with key excess, but no other benefit. The room was having insufficient light and no proper view. This hotel was never had status of more than three star which was projected in World Road Congress bulletin. Restaurant... More

I recently spent a week at the Ramada Seoul while on business. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful which was appreciated as I arrived very late at night. The room had sufficient space to work and the wifi worked very well. I liked that there were windows that opened but my room faced the street which was quite... More

Booked this hotel as it is within 15 min walk from the COEX center where I was attending a congress. Advertised as 4 star but I gave it no more than 3 stars. Carpet was a bit tired looking with a number of stains, some of the wallpaper by the bed had some minor tears in it, and the air... More

The hotel is not located in the center of Gang Nam area and far from the downtown. However, it is close to COEX, and the room rate isn't too expensive. The check in was smooth and quick without any problem. I book an executive room, but it was a room in a higher floor with key excess, but no other... More

Booked this hotel to be reasonably close to The Executive Centre Two IFC and the Ramada was having a promotion on all rooms. Requested early checkin when I booked on line as I was on the redeye from CEB. There was a big discussion about they dont have early checkin...then they charged me 60,000 won and let me have early... This hotel has changed over the years and the clientele is now mostly local Korean than foreign visitor. The upgraded room is very nice. Good firm double bed. By the window, a room length countertop serves as a desk and "putting stuff area". There are sockets on the surface of the countertop for easy electrical access. Yes! There is an... More

Staying in Samseongdong / COEX

Neighborhood Profile
Samseongdong / COEX
A large business hub, Samseongdong is anchored by Korea’s World Trade Center, where many important business exhibitions and meetings are held. The enormous COEX mall sprawls underground, providing a myriad of things to do and see, including a large aquarium and movie theater. For a bit of peace and zen, head over to the ornate Bongeunsa Temple which is one of Korea’s most important places of worship. Or take a stroll nearby through the tranquil royal burial grounds of Seonjeongneung, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
