There are lots of things going for this hotel: clean rooms, comfortable bedding, very friendly and helpful staff, free and reliable wifi, and close proximity to Yeoksam Station. The hotel's rooftop deck and pool is also nice, though I wish it opened a bit earlier -- it would have been a nice spot to enjoy morning coffee. Unfortunately, the hotel... More

This hotel is located at a inner quiet lane 2 blocks fm Yeoksam station exit 8 (station number 221/green line) The superior twin room is comfortable for 2. The beds are cozy. Hotel staff speak English and are always polite and greet us each time they see us. Peter is very helpful,we extended our stay 2 times, he ensure we... More

Location: The hotel is literally in the shadows of Renaissance Hotel. Just one block off the main street. Basically the side street right after the Renaissance, then first left and in the middle of the small street is the Grammos. The hotel is in the heart of Yeoksam. Right in the neighborhood are restaurants, convenience stores and nearby the LG... More

Hotel Grammos is conveniently located in the Gangnam district. Lives up to the promise of a small boutique hotel with stylish common areas and rooms, comfortable beds, and high end bath amenities. We couldn't have been more impressed with the friendly service from staff and quality in the details. Bonuses you wouldn't expect: -Pool. It was too cold during our... More

I have no complaints at all. It is a pretty small size hotel about a block away from Yeoksam station in Seoul. Location is nice and the hotel itself is well maintained. Call taxi was fast, wake up call was on point, good restaurants and drinking places nearby, quiet, and priced decently. I got a really good deal from expedia... More

This hotel is 300 metres to Yeonsam metro station on Line No.2 which is next to Gangnam station (the shopping area). The twin room we got was quite roomy. The staff were friendly and helpful. 50 metres away from the hotel is a Korean BBQ house that opens 24 hours. KRW38000 for two plates of meat and one beef soup.... More

This cozy hotel will not be easy to find, but once you arrive the first time, getting back is easy. The closest major hotel nearby is Hotel Renaissance. It has a pool and restaurant and a lobby with reading materials. Brochures are available to help you plan your visit around Seoul. The staff are friendly and helpful, catching a taxi... More

Very nice and friendly hotel located in gangnam area. The hotel is small but with good service and very nice stuff. The location is in busy place with resturants and clubs (some can find it inconvenience at nights). Breakfast buffe is also nice. Room is simple but includes all one needs for short period.

Although the room was a bit small, it was large enough for 2 people to fit comfortably. Location was great, because it was close to the subway and there are a few 24 hour restaurants and bbq shops close by. I especially appreciated the free laundry machine and fitness center.

I stayed at Grammos for 8 nights in November and am very happy. My goal now is to always find the "Grammos"-like hotel in every place I go for business. Very fresh, stylish, and good looking hotel but not too trendy/chic/cute. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff - there when you need them and out of your way when you don't. I... More

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighborhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
