Very clean, pleasant, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I've only ever stayed in the dormitory, which is co-ed. There are four sets of bunk beds and a loft. The climate control is good so the dorm is always at a comfortable temperature. The 6th floor dorm has a balcony with a nice view of the city.... More

Kimchi Guesthouse was extremely clean, affordable and located very centrally near lots of the major sights in Seoul (Gyungbokgung and Insa-dong). Our room was small but cozy with a strong AC. The shared bathrooms were spotless. If you want to stay at a traditional hanok guesthouse but don't have the cash to splash out for the more expensive ones in... More

Good place to stay. Near major attraction and subway station. Lots of restsurants outside the house. Friendly staff and willing to provide any necessary help. Decent traditional room and kitchen. Pleasant stay for me and my friends.

I really love this place!!! It's a perfect stay for those that want to experience more of the cultural life Korea. It's centrally located and just walking distance from 2 different metro lines. The rooms are cozy. The manager/owner is very kind too. I will definitely come back here in a next visit to Korea! #LovinSeoul

The guesthouse is located at a very convenient location, 3min walk to the subway. It's hard to find but you can call to ask the guest to pick you up from the nearest subway. The room is rather cosy but warm, stayed during winter over Christmas and it was warm in the room. Definitely a good experience to tradtional stays.

If you are considering a trip to Jongno, the historical center of Seoul, you will find this guesthouse to be exceptionally well-situated (a 3 minute walk to the subway and a 10 minute ride to the center of Seoul). The guesthouse was built in the early 20th century so it has a traditional floorplan, and it is kept clean and... More

The guesthouse is very accessible to the metro train stations. The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants. It has quite and safe neighborhood. The owner of the guesthouse is so accomodating and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our experience in the traditional korean house! Highly recommendable!
