We struggled a little bit to find the main entrance to the B&B, and first came across the entrance to the other building down a side alley! Once we got there we were greeted by hosts speaking good English and were upgraded to a room in the main building at no extra charge - always a really nice touch. Our... More

Our 4 nights stay here was a fantastic experience. Location is quite good, a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest station (Hyochang Park).Room was spacious and has comfortable beds. Both bathrooms are very clean. Kitchen is open to everyone so you can cook whatever you like. Martin is so kind that he cooked delicious dinner for us. He also accompanied... More

Martin B&B is a cosy and nice place to stay. We had a lovely room with a comfy bed and everything was extremely clean. The hosts were absolutely lovely, they even prepared us some Korean noddles in the morning seeing that we were all jetlagged and tired :-) It was great staying here, we were close to all the main... A bit hard to find (even for the taxi driver), but once you're in, you'll find yourself in a nice, living-room like reception room with a kitchen next to it. The rooms are spacious enough, the shared bathrooms clean. An ideal place to meet fellow travellers, and the owner Martin dished us up some Korean specialties at midnight, and he... More

Martin B&B is very sympathic place. Of course it is a simple as the price is not high for Seoul. Location is very convenient near by some area with restaurant and near by Subway station. Rooms are small and simple, bathroon is shared, everything is clean and well organised. For a cheap stay in Seoul this The place. The owner... More

I highly recommend this place! The owner makes this place worthwhile. He was so nice, he made me a big cooked breakfast for free and drove me to the train station to catch my plane, they really treat you nice here, the rooms are clean. The location easily reaches the main sights, but if you are the partying type u... More

Arrived at the B&B having booked only 2 nights we extended our stay to 4 nights, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are nice and always clean, no traffic noise or noise from other rooms, breakfast with large amount of choice on what to eat and no time limits, but the must is the staff! Great people very... More

Stayed in a double private room for 2 nights, 48000 KRW per night.. Booked it through booking.com.. The maps/directions on booking.com was in Korean, so I emailed Martin B&B to ask if they could provide me with directions in English. Martin replied me with very detailed directions with pictures of the roads and landmarks included.. With this info, we had... More

let me put my trip in perspective: I was on a business trip, staying at a fancy hotel but for the last night of the trip, i decided to try out the guest house scene because it's more fun hangout with backpackers. I was right. The experience at Martin B&B is more like visiting a local Korean friend's place with... More

My boyfriend and I have stayed at this guest house on numerous occasions, and can safely say that it is our favourite place to stay in Seoul. We would never stay anywhere else! (We had previously stayed in some of the other hostels/guesthouses in Seoul as well as many motels... this place proved to be the best value for money)... More
