The service is excellent. Very well located. Close to everything. The restaurant is small but well organized. Even though 4 stars they have currency trading system that helped me a lot. Despite being right in the center, the hotel is very quiet and no noise. Very clean. They are to be congratulated.

This was a wonderful stay! We got their double deluxe room, it seemed as large as a King, tastefully decorated, huge flat screen with the best picture I have ever seen, remote iPad like panel by bed controls everything from lights, to wake up, orders etc.. The toliet was like a space ship from Mars, heats, sprays, vibrates, and blow... More

We booked for 4 nights in this hotel and got a really good price at $125pn. This place is situated in the heart of Myeondong so very good location. However the service here was very poor. Requested a non smoking room and was told by the guy that it was a non-smoking but people may smoke in it sometimes. Room... More

Our family stayed for 3 nights, we were impressed of the room as it was clean and tidy furthermore, it is in the Myeongdong shopping district. The hotel is very convenient to the shopping areas which my wife loved so much. The next time we visit Seoul, I plan to stay on this hotel. Hotel location is a stone throw... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and was very pleased. The hotel is very clean and was upgraded upon check-in. You walk out the door and BAM!....you are in the heart of Myeongdong. The night market is very exciting as well as shopping. Close to the Seoul Station as well as the Namdaemun Market. Only problem, the hotel staff lacked in... More

comfortable bed and clean room. We were given upgraded room on check in. Walking distance to two different subway stations with different subway line. Food aplenty around the hotel location. Reception staffs were friendly and helpful, but can't say the same thing for the concierge staffs though. Would not hesitate to stay again. Took hotel's shuttle from airport. On our... More

Hotel staff have limited English but are most helpful and patient. We booked tours through them without any issues. Hotel facilities - top notch. Always clean and spotless. Only thing which bugged me was that I couldn't switch the lights on/off without the door swipe card being in the keyholder thing which gives the room electricity (I have no idea... More

Pro - 1) Accessible to Myeongdong shopping and night street market - lots of shops selling facial products. The night street market is mainly stalls offering food such as meatballs, potatos skewers with cheese and bbq favouring, local noodles, egg breads and etc. 2) Walking distance to Euljiro-1ga Station. if you are doing a free and easy, and lost for... The hotel is located rihht at the heart of Myeondong. Very accessible if you are interested to go to street night market. It is also accessible to clothing and make up stores such as H&M, faceshop, zara and other brands. The hotel is clean and tidy.

Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighborhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighborhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighborhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighborhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.
