We didn't start off with the best of luck - as this hotel is right near city hall, we arrived to thousands of protestors and tens of thousands of police blocking streets and making us generally anxious and uncomfortable. Luckily, once we arrived at this hotel, all was made better. We were instantly put at ease with the service, the... More

We had a twin room facing the City Hall. All electronic gadgets including curtains. You must put your room key on side entry to activate everything. Free wifi (gets slower at night). Rain shower. Automatic flush on toilets which is a Smartlet. The room also had built in adapters for US electronics. I did not feel that the room was... More

I stayed on the top floor in a beautiful room overlooking the city hall. I spent there 12 days during a business trip and everything was just perfect! The room was big, quiet, clean and very comfortable. Definitely one of the best hotel I've been to.

Loved this hotel, while the breakfast was absurdly expensive (Roughly $75 for two plates of eggs) everything else about the hotel was wonderful. The eucalyptus smell that they pump out in the lobby is an incredible "welcome home" after a long day of exploring the city. We also loved the weight room that is included in the hotel. It was... Has its own character compared to the Lotte. Helpful bell hops, staff and concierge. Ask for a room facing the City Hall. It's a great view and quiet at night. Everything is electronically controlled like the drapes and lights via a touch screen at your bed. We stayed in April on 7th floor in a Family room with 3 twin... More

The Plaza is a large hotel with a convenient central location, excellent travel options and immaculately designed public areas. The rooms are well designed and crammed with technical facilities that make staying a pleasure. The buffet breakfast offers a bewildering array of options and service is impeccably attentive. Really hard to fault. The in-house restaurants are pricey.

Once you factor in the free breakfast, snacks, desserts, happy hour, view from the 18th+ floors and ideal host/concierge service, the club floor makes sense. If you are looking for a no-frills hotel in downtown Seoul, and a price to match, then this probably isn't the hotel for you anyhow. The rooms are a bit small, with no real desk/work... More

The Plaza is a large hotel with beautifully designed public areas, attentive service, and a central location. My room was small though well designed. It is techno-laden, with switches and screens for every possible function, including pulling the shades. The buffet breakfast offers an extensive selective of western and Korean options.
