This hotel is located in the city center of Seoul, between Lotte Hotel and the Plaza Hotels. You can go to Cheonggye Stream, palaces, and shopping malls easily. Nearby, there are lots of famous restaurants which are famous for a hot dish called stir-fried octopus.

Was a bit worried at first since the lady at the check-in counter wasn't that enthuastic and the building looke dull from outside. BUT when at the room I was very pleased. Very nice design. Very clean. Splendid view of the city center. This place has style. Thanks.

We stayed at this hotel two different time in the past 7 days. First time the room was very nice and had be remodeled. The second time time was an older condition room but it was clean. Over all a nice hotel especially for the price.

If the standard definition of a 4 star hotel is paper thin walls where you can literally hear guests next door sneeze and eat their food, then this is it! No closets in the rooms where you can hang clothes. Only a bar with hangers on the wall next to the TV. There is also no iron in the rooms... More

First of all, the staff doesn't speak English very well which in my case turned into them charging me for their mistakes. Secondly, the room had to be changed because of the smell of cigarette, so they gave me another room, supposed to be an "upgrade", with a huge stain on the carpet and looking quite old. Breakfast is nothing... More

Old rooms and bathroom. Very thin walls in the rooms. Expensive bar for breakfast (18000won for an orange juice and an eclair) and staff's level of English was extremely low. This hotel needs renovations to be done asap! Views from the room were amazing and also the hotel's location is excellent.

Hotel was very good. Rooms were good and offered good sleep. Breakfast was not so good for vegetarian people. When people are going towards vegetarianism, hotel people should take care of. Ideally located from where all the places are near. But no place for enjoyment, health and relaxation. Hotel should make provisions towards health of its guests.

The room I had has recently been refurbished and was very pleasant. I don't know if they have done all of them but I didn't mind the rooms the way they were. Sort of dowdy charming but comfortable and convenient. The new room was almost slick. The bed was great. I slept reasonably well which is good for me. The... More

I just give a try to this "historical" hotel after reading comments online, as its room rate is quite reasonable - less then half of the Lotte Hotel next door. Hotel President has easy access to and from the airports, the KAL airport shuttle bus station is just outside the Lotte Hotel and department store/duty shop. Metro station exit is... More

I stayed for 4 nights for work. It was very well located, clean and functional though I had an odd wedge shaped room with a small window and which smelt slightly of smoke. It did the job but had no particular charm. I got a low rate through my hosts; looked a bit expensive / poor value at the rates... More
