The hotel is a little dated but rooms are a good size, good pillows are always a plus. Plenty of shopping in the malls underneath if you want that. Gym is a good size with plenty of equipment. Although the room rates are competitive the misc charges are nuts. Hard to justify why drinks for example are more than twice... More

The hotel is well located next to the train station, a mere 5 minutes walk away, if you get out from the right. Hence I would suggest to check the direction and the correct exit carefully before pulling your luggage on the streets. You can ask the English speaking train staff before exiting from the underground. I didn't spend much... More

Haven't stayed here for quite a while and it didn't disappoint. Rooms are large and well maintained after all these years. Staff is polite and helpful. Conveniently located right next to KOEX, the still-popular and likely the best venue for expos and likes - can gain access via the basement mall without getting wet even in the foulest of weathers.... I stayed two Saturdays in a row. We booked the first Saturday as a last minute staycation. We got a good price from Agoda that included breakfast. When we went to check in I was shocked by how rude the girl who checked me in was. She obviously did not want to be there and was so rude that if... More

I give this hotel best rating, don't really have any complaints except being very expensive at every step. But maybe this fits in the Seoul pricing, as Seoul in general is a very expensive city. I would like to recommend a very good and friendly concierge, Miss Gina who is most friendly and helpful, remembering guests' name and always at... More

The service is great in this hotel. Everyone is very perceptive. The rooms are a bit old, rather 90s style than top modern. Not tooth paste provided for free as well as tooth brushes. The biggest downside is that all is very expensive. A breakfast is 50! US Dollar, putting a shirt into laundry 20 USD! Also the food and... More

Have stayed here a few times now and continues to be very good hotel in all aspects. Room is spacious and convenient to spread out and work. Internet is good. Breakfast buffet is very good and concierge was very helpful in arranging taxi and giving address in Korean to driver and card to return later. All that you could expect... More

From the time we checked in, service was excellent. Staffs spoke English and very friendly. Breakfast buffet was incredible, so many different selections. We had a business dinner at the Table 34, service was excellent, the tables were spaced out so it was very quite. Hotel location was very convenient and 3 mins under ground walk to the Samsung station.

This hotel is a good business hotel. It is also well situated near many restaurants which are within 5-10 min walking distance; most of them are Korean but you can find a few Western ones too. The hotel has an excellent buffet breakfast with food items from around the world; You can have Chinese style breakfast (congee) one morning and... More

Stayed for a few days here, was greeted with a smile first time checked in. I also have a problem checking in but they were very helpful in helping me resolve the problem. The hotel is very near to shopping malls and there is a bus from the airport to the hotel. Enjoyed the breakfast here so much

Staying in Samseongdong / COEX

Neighborhood Profile
Samseongdong / COEX
A large business hub, Samseongdong is anchored by Korea’s World Trade Center, where many important business exhibitions and meetings are held. The enormous COEX mall sprawls underground, providing a myriad of things to do and see, including a large aquarium and movie theater. For a bit of peace and zen, head over to the ornate Bongeunsa Temple which is one of Korea’s most important places of worship. Or take a stroll nearby through the tranquil royal burial grounds of Seonjeongneung, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
