We stayed 1 night with my wife as the next day we were flying to Jeju. What can i say The Shilla hotel is the best hotel in Seoul. All the staff are extremely well groomed and real professionals they are very discreet and efficient. The rooms we stayed were extremely comfortable and it seems that they were recently refurbished.... More

We stayed here for a staycation. The hotel is rated a 5 star and a must stay while in Korea. I do think it is a 5 star, but that being said there are a few drawbacks. As other reviewers have mentioned it is on top of a hill, so unless you are driving or taking a taxi it is... More

I was here for a short time. I checked in late at night, and checked out in the morning next day so I wasn't able to take a look at all the facility. I did visit the spa, which was excellent. Breakfast bar at the club lounge, they could have done better. the food was good though

Take a good look at the swimming pool in the tripadvisor page. If you are traveling with family, the kids will not be using it (not allowed during the week). They have a second outdoor pool, but despite the fact we paid for a business executive suite, they charge $100 per adult, $70 per kid per day up charge ($270... More

Stayed at the Shilla June 17-20 in one of the suites. Location wise - convenient as the Shilla duty free store is just next door; Hermes is attached to the hotel. Need to taxi everywhere but not a major inconvenience and major parts of Seoul are close by (such as Myeongdong, Gangnam, Insadong, etc). The renovated hotel is wonderful -... More

Everything is amazing. You just feel like you are a king in your kingdom. No more words I can add. The service, the food, the rooms, and the people. Everything is spacial and amazing. Different restaurants, with different restaurants and tastes.

I was not at all prepared for what I saw when I walked into the lobby of the Shilla for the first time - I have stayed in some very nice hotels in my life and some really unique ones, too, and the Shilla is one of the best and the most original. The decor is just gorgeous and very... More

This hotel is the best one I've stayed in Asia. The service is amazing, everyone is nice without being too pushy. Location is very good, everywhere I went was within 20-30 minutes of the hotel. The food was really good. The best part was the bed, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom amenities were really nice along... More

As I was packing to leave the Shilla, I thought to myself, this is one of the few hotels that I would happily return to, for the pure pleasure of being there again. The standards here are off the charts, from the design and decoration of the public spaces, to the rooms, to the meeting and dining facilities, all of... More

This is the first time I have seen a hotel's pool being evacuated several times a day everyday as a routine. At noon suddenly the pool guard started to whistle strongly for everyone to leave the pool, for maintenance. Nothing happened but it was mandatory. And only 10 minutes later we could return to the pool. That was weird. They... More
