This hotel is the best one I've stayed in Asia. The service is amazing, everyone is nice without being too pushy. Location is very good, everywhere I went was within 20-30 minutes of the hotel. The food was really good. The best part was the bed, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom amenities were really nice along... More

As I was packing to leave the Shilla, I thought to myself, this is one of the few hotels that I would happily return to, for the pure pleasure of being there again. The standards here are off the charts, from the design and decoration of the public spaces, to the rooms, to the meeting and dining facilities, all of... More

This is the first time I have seen a hotel's pool being evacuated several times a day everyday as a routine. At noon suddenly the pool guard started to whistle strongly for everyone to leave the pool, for maintenance. Nothing happened but it was mandatory. And only 10 minutes later we could return to the pool. That was weird. They... More

I went to stay at Shilla for a wedding, which also took place there. So, I tried both their rooms and catering facilities. The Good I was told it was recently renovated, so all the public areas and rooms are very new, modern and well equipped with details. The TV and toilet in the room are the best and advanced... More

They have the best executive lounge which serves for four sessions a day (almost throughout the day including breakfast) with pretty good dishes/desserts compared to any other hotel lounges. Also liked their large sauna and the Jacuzzi at the outdoor pool area in a cold weather.

I know its been a very long time, but when I entered the Shilla I felt like Royalty. Every one bow as you enter, Exquisitely decorated. the food was marvelous, I still remember to this day. We ordered room service and were treated like royals. I wish I could go back. Located in the heart of Seoul Korea.

Great hotel perched on a hill. The service was very friendly and efficient. I especially loved the heaters stretched across overhead at the front entrance. They not only kept us very warm in the cold January weather but also added some dramatic design to the front foyer. We were there for a 3 day conference and Shilla served some of... More

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. Perched on a hilltop in Seoul, the Shilla has a breathtaking lobby with Swarovski crystal chandeliers lighting that is alone worth a visit. The buffet features food from around the world and is the most decadent I have ever seen. The lighting in the rooms is unparalelled as are the many... More

This is the hotel which requires no comments. Everything is just perfect. Wonderful location, beautiful and modern rooms, highest level service. This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in during 8 years of intensive traveling around the world. If you have a chance, just take it.

Stayed for just one night but everything was perfect: fast and nice check in on the 23rd floor lounge, large and good quality room, bed, bathroom, furnishing, everything clean and tidy, simple but great and very fast breakfast in the lounge again. Will definitely be on my short list for future stays in Seoul.
