Stayed for one night at the Seoul Renaissance in Oct 2008. A very nice hotel overall. The hotel is about 1 hour away from Incheon airport. We stayed at the Club level and hence had access to the club lounge. The spread at the lounge was very nice with good snacks and also drinks in the evening. Rooms very not... more

This hotel was a little older than some of the other hotels, but I did not have any complaints. The downstairs lounge had live music, the lobby was really nice... and this was a Marriott chain. The room was clean, the hotel gave you free bottles of water. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. And there is a... more

Very good hotel, everything so clean and working. We were also lucky to get very good deal for these nights. Also very convenient bus connection to Seoul-Incheon by KAL Bus. However, for a tourist trip you always need metro to get where everyhing nice and interesting is. And metro does not run all night, so taxi back to the hotel.... more

Typical of Renaissance hotels, the lobby as large, with high ceilings. The room was plush and we had a view of the busy street scene below. Smack in the middle of Seoul's business district, the hotel is within walking distance to a good variety of restaurants. It is far from shopping areas and tourist sites, however. We had to take... more

This hotel looked very new. Rooms were very nice and staff was incredibly nice and helpful. I stayed at Millenium Hilton on a previous trip and found that hotel dingy, smelly and old. Renaissance Seoul is so much nicer than Millenium Hilton. Highly recommend this hotel. Note that coffee at hotel restaurant is VERY expensive. more

This is an excellent hotel to stay in esp if you get it as a priceline deal. It is south of the river and the airport express drops you right outside the front door. Walking up the main street this area called Gangnam has lots of shops and restaurants on the main and side streets. The hotel has a complimentary... more

As others have noted, this hotel is perfectly acceptable (if utterly charmless) and offers excellent deals via Priceline (we got it for USD 75/night, or $90 with taxes). The location is tolerable, rather further than I'd have liked but a decent balance with the price. The staff speak good English and are willing to help. It's a well-maintained property, spotlessly... more

First off, we booked our hotel through priceline at the last minute for a steal. So I think the price-value ratio is very strong for how nice it was. When we did get there we were given the option of a room with only 1 bed, or a korean style room. We tried the korean style room where you basically... more

Was in Seoul for business. Stayed in this very spacious hotel! The lobby was huge, the rooms were big too! Quite a nice hotel. It's based in the north side of Seoul (north from the Han River) Traffic always very manic in this area. So plan transportation in good time. Providing a highly convenient spot for business and tourist, this... more

I stayed in Renaissance only for two separated nights. I stayed there when I was having a tour package trip to South Korea, so basically this hotel wasn't selected personally by me. As I arrived at night and had to leave in late morning, I didn't really get chance to explore and use the facilities of this hotel, at least... more
