it is located really core of center. 5 min away to visit Gwanghwamun square and 15 min walk to the Royal Palace, Gyeongbok. City hall is 7 min away, on foot. Namdaemun is 20 min walk away... etc. Related to the facility, it is average. From the bathroom , there was smell so I had to close firmly in order... More

Room was pretty dated and didn't feel very welcoming. Bathroom yellowed, and need of an update. Was put in a triple bed room for some reason. Staff was also a little lacklustre, and lacked any warmth or interest in guests.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Our trip was a leisure trip and it was just a street away from the man made stream, city hall, banks, starbucks. It was very convenient! The only thing that we didn't like was the slow wifi. The staff especially the housekeeping was cheerful they kept on greeting us.

Room not large but ok, bathroom, linen and tower clean enough. the locatoin near gyeongbokgung palace, Myongdong and only 50.000 won... More

We stayed four nights here. Booked a room with no window (it was really cheap). Get a window.....I think you really need a window to adjust circadian rhythms. The location was fabulous. The City Bus kiosk was across the street. Meyongdong, Meyongdong Cathedral, Insadong, gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Secret Garden were all within an easy walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel on a visit to Seoul about 10 years ago, and just returned for another visit. As some people mentioned, the property is rather old, but everything in the room worked fairly well, and it's a good value for the price, especially considering the excellent location right in the heart of the city center, and just... Appears to be an old property, rooms cramped for space. Nothing like a fancy boutique or a standard business hotel. I am 6 feets and surprisingly could not use the toilet of a room primarily assigned due to space, then got promptly changed on complaint. Being a vegetarian, finding an indian restaurant just steps away was a pro.. A very... More

Ive arranged the bookings for my in-laws and i cannot say Ive had a hard time asking for changes. For instance, ive originally booked a double bed for 3 (family says they would "fit") & upon arrival with all the luggage, they could not fit comfortably. I requested an upgrade and was more than willing to pay extra since it... More

I stayed in 2 Best Western hotels in Seoul, this one and Kukdo which I had the review done too. Personally I gave 4 stars to Kukdo and 3 to this one. Location wise I think Kukdo is better in terms of less walking distance to the subway as well as the stop of the airport bus. The only plus... More

Location is everything about this Hotel. Just walk outside turn left and there is the main avenue, one block to the right and find the famous needle and the stream, half a mile north is Gyeongbok Palace, and in same area Insa-dong. Half mile south and great markets there. Staff very helpful but rooms with no view. Korean Airlines Limousine to... More
