I stayed in this hotel more than 50 nights in 2009 for business. This is clearly a business hotel: no charm, no interesting surrounding neighborhood... However, the staff is nice, very professional. The best thing of this hotel being its location: 50 minutes from ICN & 15 minutes from Gimpo all by direct buses. Access to all part of the... more

We stayed in Garden Hotel for 6 nights,I can say ,I will not stay here in our next visit to Seoul. This hotel is far away from every place in Seoul. It is in Mapo district. There are no good restaurants, cafes and shopping and any amusement around. You have to take taxi or subway inorder to go to nearest visiting place.... more

In Korea, this is described as a "Western-style" hotel becuase of the amenities. However, not many of the staff speak English and Westerners, especially Americans, are definitely crossing a line by venturing in to the lobby bar/restaurant or 3d floor health club unless accompanied by Koreans. These two areas within the hotel seem to be frequented almost exclusively by locals... more

I stayed here for five days and although I was not paying I found it a great place. Free internet is a bonus. It is not in downtown Seoul but in the Mapo district just north of the Han River. You can easily go to anywhere in Seoul on the subway as the Mapo station is only a few minutes... more

Room was terrible. Stank of smoke, including the towels. Bathroom was hideous. Food not bad but there must be better options around. more

We stayed here for 1 night by joining the tour in HK. The bad is small but the FREE internet is the best thing we found here! Last but not least, the shower water is strong too! A nice place to stay if you are not expecting too much! more

Best Western ws not such a bad place to be in. It is rather central and has easy access to the metro. There were some shops opposite and on both sides of the street. Internet was free which a bonus. unfortunately did not manage to use the other amneties available. Worth the time to stay. more

I had a night in Korea, just another fast series of meetings.. The local contact booked the stay and to be honest I did not care where as it was a means to an end. So what type of a facility did I end up in? If I did not know the hotels history I think I would have gained... more

We stayed there for a week and was happy with the service. The people are friendly and served with a smile. The room is small but comfortable. Location is good if food is what you need. Just 1 min walk from hotel (directly at the back) is a whole street of restaurants and cafe. There is a small shop that... more
