During my recent visit to Korea, I had an unexpected surprise of finding home away from home. I came across Chingu guesthouse from this website, I am forever grateful for that. After dealing with somewhat unprofessional like conducts from other hostels in the area, Chingu provided a pleasant atmosphere and hassle free environment to stay. Its location was easy to... More

A great hostel by all accounts - clean, cozy, all the facilities (wifi, computers, laundry, A/C) you could want at a great price. A standout because of the amazing staff who helped us out so much while we were there - here's some of the stuff they did for us: - When we left, it was raining torrentially. One of... More

I booked a deluxe four mixed dormitory. I arrived a day earlier due to my schedule, so I moved in to an eight room dormitory for a day. I do not see the difference between both rooms. The four room dorm is way much smaller than the eight dorm, I can understand since it has lesser bed. But it has... More

Great hostel! It's within a few minute walk to the central Hongdae area with tons of shops, great international restaurants (we found a few italian restaurants that were worth the visit), and fun bars (just watch out for the Koreans only bars, they won't let in Waygooks. Nothing like a little old fashion racism). It's also about a 5 minute... More

My friend and I was planning to visit Seoul Motorshow back in April 6-7. We booked a 2-nights stay in Standard Twin Room via online reservation for a total fee of KRW 100,000 (KRW 25k/person/night). In their website, it is stated that our chosen room is located in half-basement, so we expected accordingly. I arrived on the day of my... More

I stayed here with some friends for 2 nights upon recommendation from a friend. It is in a fantastic location in Hongdae and the facilities were great for what we paid (18000 per night). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm within an apartment with another 8 bed dorm and a private room.... More

My friends and I stayed here when we stayed in Seoul for the weekend. We stayed in an 8 bed dormitory and paid 12,000 KRW each (Around USD 12). Nothing fancy, but everything you need for a few nights stay. The staff was great and helpful. Great location a few minutes walk from Hongdae subway station.
