Hotel is really value for money-clean modern rooms with all amenities found only in 5 star hotels.WI-FI and computers and all other tech available in room.Breakfast is basic but ample.Location is central to most tourist places and MRT is around the corner.Great restaurants in all directions. Staff very helpful and always accomodate any question or suggestion.Really would recommend staying here.

Great points: free wifi, free breakfast, very big TV connected to the computer, free movies Hotel is accessible, around 2 blocks from Yeoksam station (a few minutes walk), and a block from Renaissance Hotel where the Kallimousine Airport Bus 6703 has a stop. You can ride this to/fro Incheon Airport. Hotel is not on the main road itself though, it's... More

A hotel that uses the high tech and design aspect as a selling point. However, all this technology is confusing to operate. Lights, airco, TV, computer... Nice, but not handy for the average person. During our stay, we were on the 11th floor and a group of (young) people booked a room on the 12th for a party. Incredibly noisy,... More

Stayed for 4 nights here in early April. As we took a night flight, we took the airport limousine that dropped at Yeoksam station instead of Hotel Renaissance. Was a feat looking for the hotel, however a helpful shopkeeper called the hotel and the staff came to receive us at the station. For those who may need help in direction,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during Easter. Normally we would stay at MyeongDong, but since it was Easter, everything was fully booked, so we had to book this hotel. Initially I wasn't too happy with the location, since although airport bus and metro was just 5 minutes away, the location was still a little far from the main shopping... More

We stayed for ficve nights and the hotel lived up to our expectation. The hotel is very good value and the location while not tourist is convenient to the airport KAL limo transport and the subway. Many restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Service was excellent as staff explained the amenities and assisted with touring options. Wireless worked flawlessly... More

This hotel is located 2 blocks away from the subway which makes it convenient for people who want to take the train. On our first day there, we couldn't seem to find the hotel as it was tucked in behind the big buildings on the main street. Had to call them up and ask for directions. Instead, they sent someone... A friend and I visited Seoul during Chinese New Year. My friend found wonderful reviews for the Nox Hotel and so we booked 2 rooms. The price was amazing, $80 dollars per night which included a computer in the room, beautiful bathroom with luxury amenities, heated floors in the bedroom, sitting couch and a comfortable bed with beautiful linens. The... More

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighborhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
