I went to Seoul recently with my family with the hope that we will be gaining great traveling experience there. Well, Seoul was indeed a marvelous place to visit, but definitely not this Ciara 920. If you call it clean, well then you may not know what cleanliness means. The The room is small. Very small. Not enough room to... More

Stayed in the twin room for 4 nights during the autumn season. There was hardly any space to walk after we placed our lugguage. We did not switch on the aircon (which was right above the double decker bed) as it was already quite cooling. THe bathroom is too spacious. Pls take note that the basin has no proper drainage... I stayed at Ciara920 for 12 nights. The twin room is very small but clean. We reached Ciara920 before the check-in time on the 1st day hence we left our luggages and went out. When we returned at around 7pm, the check-in counter is already close. The worst thing is our aircon is faulty! We tried calling Eric mobile but... More

We stayed at Ciara920 for 4 nights. It's right next to Jeonggak station, which makes the location good enough (though the alley to get to the hostel is scary and smells bad): there were many shops, restaurants and fast food places; it was walking distance from Myong-dong, Insa-dong and Tapgol Park. Eric, the place owner, is very kind, to the... More

This place is very new and has great location, which is just next to the Jonggak Subway station. It is walking distance to Insa dong and Myeong Dong and has lots of great eateries and shopping near it. There is also a huge Daiso across the road, so that you can get almost anything there at very affordable prices. The... More

Staying in Itaewon

Neighborhood Profile
Itaewon
Neighboring the immense Yongsan American Garrison, Itaewon was once shunned by locals as a seedy, red light district. But within the past few years, Itaewon and its surrounding neighborhoods such as Kyunglidan and Haebangchong have undergone a major revival to quickly become one of Seoul’s hottest areas. Here, trendy international restaurants dot the area alongside hip lounge bars and some of Seoul’s hottest club venues. After dark, Itaewon comes into its own as one of Seoul’s top party scenes. The crowd is a fascinating patchwork of all backgrounds and identities, including a small but thriving Muslim community (centered on Korea’s sole mosque), the LGBT community (with a string of popular bars and clubs), and a wide range of ethnicities and cultures scattered around. Those seeking a quiet respite should head towards the eastern end, in Hannam-dong, which not only has one of Korea’s best art museums, the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, but plenty of mid-range to upscale restaurants and cafes.
