Come Inn is highly recommended to stay in Seoul due to friendly+generous host and good location. We can grab anything near around even it's late, that means, we can go shopping anytime! Haha, best for 2 girls! I must stay here again if I went to Seoul!! :)

The owners of Come Inn have a neat and good guesthouse in the Hongdae area in Mapo Gu. They are helpful, social and a good host to you. There is a good price/quality balance. You can wash, cook, having a basic breakfast included, relax on a wooden terrace with high view, watching TV in the living room, read a lot... More

Enjoyed my stay for 5 days & 4 nights...I had to move around to different rooms due to a last minute change on my reservation, but I really appreciate the host for being very accommodating. The location is very convenient as it’s close to everything: restaurants, themed cafes, subway and clubs.

This was such an inviting stay. Bobby, at the desk, made sure we were welcome the moment we came in and gave us a tour of the place. Our room was on the top floor and opened onto the deck that over looked Hongdae. It was really clean, simple, and super close to the nightlife and shopping of Hongdae. Free... More

My friend and I had a memorable trip in Seoul South Korea during our trip last April 2015 as we were able to experience spring and the full bloom of the cherry blossoms. We planned to stay in Hongik University area as it is very accessible by train from the airport and Come Inn Guesthouse was really our first choice.... More

Staying in Hongdae

Neighborhood Profile
Hongdae
Carefree enthusiasm is everywhere in this energetic neighborhood centered on Hongik University, Korea’s top art school. From its assortment of murals to the occasional amateur street performances, creativity and expression make up the wild and beating heart of vibrant Hongdae. At the Free and Hope Market (weekends at the Hongdae Children’s Playground) you'll find one of Seoul’s most popular handmade and creative markets drawing consistent crowds. At Hongdae, there’s never a shortage of things to do and see; food and drink options are nearly endless as are shops and noraebang (karaoke) rooms. Hongdae is also one of Seoul’s top party and club scenes catering to a younger demographic; if a packed club isn’t your scene, you'll also find a range of music venues and bars offering live music in all genres. Although Hongdae has lost much of its unique appeal and undergone rapid commercialization in recent years, be sure to explore Hongdae’s edges in areas such as Sangsu-dong and Yeonnam-dong where Hongdae’s fiercely independent streak still runs freely.
