I love how near to Myeongdong station this guesthouse is, just 5 to 10 minutes’ walk to the shopping district. There are restaurants and cafes just within few steps outside the guesthouse, and we could easily walk back to our guesthouse for a rest or to leave our bags of shopping. It is also within walking distance to Namdaemun market... More

Excellent service! My family stayed in Gyeonghigungville near Gwanghwahmun... it was a great place, quiet neighborhood. The 3 bedroom apartment that we stayed at, had a great interior, everything we need are provided. The manager in charge was very helpful. He even arranged to transport all our luggages when we checked out and helped us find a good taxi that... More

After staying for a night at the Namsan 3, I de-camped to Alps Seoul and what a contrasting relief! A proper bed (not mattress on the floor), big rooms and peace and quiet at night (proper walls not cardboard ones like at Namsan 3)! Ok, it is a little more money but worth every won! If you want a bolt... More

Excellent service where all the things in the guesthouse can be use(such as body shampoo, hair shampoo, facial cleanser, computer, washing machine, kitchen wares and etc). We even requested some things(hair dryer and washing powder) we couldn't find anywhere from our floor from Mister Myung(the manager) and he nicely gave it to us. We didn't worried anything as everything are well-provided. Mister Myung are superb... More

I stayed 4 months and quality of service & location were perfect for me. A great place to stay long term. Despite the difference in language always has a willingness to help solve problems.

I stayed at Alps Seoul for two months while in Korea doing research for my graduate degree. As a student traveler, my priorities were to find a place with easy access to the subway, a comfortable living space, in a safe area, and somewhere I could cook my own meals. I was very lucky to find Alps Seoul and to... More

This place frequently advertises on Seoul Craisglist as Meyongdong and Kwangwhamoon aparment, and that's where we found it. We stayed at their Kwangwhamoon unit for a month. This is in a residential block of the building and none of people there knew that Chong was running a rental joint there and I had to explain to them that it was... More

Dear all, Normally I don't write reviews but after reading the one on this site, I decided to do so. I have been 4 times to Korea and stayed all these 4 times at Mr Chong's place. 3 times in the studios and 1 time in one of his apartments. He is always very helpful to, gave me even discount...
