Actually I stayed in this hotel for 9 nights during my trip to Seoul in Dec 2013 (although it was late to review now, i still remember the experience i had there). The room itself is very spacious with seating area and has a bathtub in the spacious private bathroom. Towels provided, including body wash, shampoo, hairspray, and etc. There... More

All this hotel has going for it is it's location to everything, such as shopping, metro, eating, all within easy walking distance. My room was ok, but as I asked for a room in the basement which was $100 cheaper than on other floors, I had to request a wake-up call every morning as there was no natural light to... More

Do not get scared by some reviewers' comment about the hill. My husband is 72, just had a total hip replacement surgery due to a recent fall in India. After a total medical mismanagement nightmare he had the surgery and only about 3 weeks ago he had started walking again. From the metro station Hoehyeon (line number 4) if you... More

This hotel has everything you can ask for. Clean room, friendly front desk, great location with easy access to the metro station, Namsan area and walking distance to two popular shopping areas- MyeongDong and Namdaemun Market. I have been and stayed at five stars hotels many times all over the world and in Seoul. Most of these hotels are beautiful,... More

Hill House Hotel is a medium sized hotel that provides bargain prices while offering an excellent location. The positives are many the negatives are few and I highly recommend this property for short or long visits to Seoul. Getting to Hill House might be a challenge the first time but it is really only a seven-minute walk from the subway... More

The location is very good, as it is near to Myeong Dong shopping area, Namdaemun, and Seoul N Tower. But be reminded it is a hotel at a hill, so you need to walk up and down the hill everyday, not recommended for family with children or old folks. The wifi in the room is rather disappointing, it is so... More

Convenient for Myeong Dong shopping, Namdeamun market and Hoehyeon MTR close by. Can also walk to the Seoul Tower up the hill if you're in reasonable shape. Staff very friendly with good English. Breakfast eggs and toast did the job. Ordered taxis and tours when needed. Some great eating options close by too. Negatives - shower pressure/temperature inconsistent and no... More

Stayed in the superior double 1 night and deluxe twin 2 nights. Love the room. Good sleep too. Simple and new. The deluxe twin was more expensive but more spacious and liked it better. Also has a jacuzzi. Only problem is that the bath shower had no curtains in both to types of rooms. Breakfast was simple. Toast, eggs, salad,... More

My friends and I (all 14 of us) were booked at Hill House Hotel. We chose this hotel because, first, of its price, and second, because of its location. Although it's a budget hotel, the hotel had almost all one needed in a trip. The rooms were not really spacious, but comfortable enough. The closet, though was really tiny. Bedroom and... More

I do agree with previous reviewers as far as location, value and cleanliness is concerned, but not a single room in the hotel has a shower-cubicle. You have to climb in and out of bathtubs, neither glass partitions or shower curtains are provided causing the proverbial floods unless you are extremely careful. Nevertheless I will again stay at this hotel... More
