Kaya is cheap but nice, nothing too special but the location is the key. Subway, train, bus, and taxis are available. USO is right down the street, the Army base is close. The War Memorial is right around the corner. Once again, nothing too fancy here, just budget hotel!

The rooms were not very good. Brds were clean but nit comfortable and rooms not well cared for. I have lived in Korea before and know you can certainly find better rooms for the same price. Expected much more:(.

Kaya Hotel is a nice budjet Hotel in the center of Seoul. Everything was fine except the language and breakfast at the hotel. The managers couldn't speak proper English. Stayed here jan 2013, for 10 days,, my mom, me an infant and a 9 yr. old son. We stayed here 10 days, average price for our twin room (1 single bed and 1 double bed) was about £ 40/night. We stayed here two times for two night traveling to and from Down Under in February (3rd floor) and March (2nd floor). Both times it was very hot in the room because of a not adjustable floor heater. Location: Great! 5 mins walk away from the subway station and so much restaurants nearby that are 24/7, quiet, and I actually feel safe! As others stated this hotel is really close to Namyeong station (5 minutes walk) and numerous places to eat around the hotel which is a plus.
