Kaya is cheap but nice, nothing too special but the location is the key. Subway, train, bus, and taxis are available. USO is right down the street, the Army base is close. The War Memorial is right around the corner. Once again, nothing too fancy here, just budget hotel!

The rooms were not very good. Brds were clean but nit comfortable and rooms not well cared for. I have lived in Korea before and know you can certainly find better rooms for the same price. Expected much more:(.

haven't stayed there since we moved to Seoul in 2004 when it was a good midrangeplace we used to stay there on our trips to Seoul, 9 years later on our way out of Korea it was nice to see not much has changed. Rooms were pretty much the same as were the prices, nothing fancy but everything was clean,... More

Kaya Hotel is a nice budjet Hotel in the center of Seoul. Everything was fine except the language and breakfast at the hotel. The managers couldn't speak proper English. I had paid extra for the "Continental Breakfast", but it was neither Continental nor breakfast. I got two pieces of breat, some small pieces of butter and Jam, a glass of... More

Stayed here jan 2013, for 10 days,, my mom, me an infant and a 9 yr. old son. We stayed at a double room and were not charged extra which is really very good for us travelling on a budget, and wanting to experience more of their culture view more sights worth seeing and dine like the locals... We stayed here 10 days, average price for our twin room (1 single bed and 1 double bed) was about £ 40/night. Located near 2 subway stations, but also on the route of the bus from the airport (6001) with a stop almost in front of the hotel. As mentioned in other reviews, loads of restaurants around the hotel. It... More

We stayed here two times for two night traveling to and from Down Under in February (3rd floor) and March (2nd floor). Both times it was very hot in the room because of a not adjustable floor heater. We slept in our underwear, with the window wide open (minus 10 degrees outside!) and the airco on! The sheets were clean... More

Location: Great! 5 mins walk away from the subway station and so much restaurants nearby that are 24/7, quiet, and I actually feel safe! I love where it is located because if you look at the map of Seoul, Namyeong Station is just RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the map! So convenient to go everywhere! Cleanliness: Superb! Exceeded my expectations,... More

I had stayed the night before in a hotel down the street from Kaya. The beds where hard so I was wanting to see about moving to this hotel. I first went in and asked to see the room. The clerk said that he was alone and could not leave the desk. I told him I would come back after... More

As others stated this hotel is really close to Namyeong station (5 minutes walk) and numerous places to eat around the hotel which is a plus. It is a budget hotel so the price is quite good especially with families, the room can fit up to 4 people (ondol room) no extra charge that is you just pay what ever... More
