There is a chinese saying '麻雀虽小,五脏俱全',it means small but complete in every detail. The moment we stepped in, 2nd Casa, we felt cosy. Comfort and warmth like home. The room was rather small but it was okay as it was comfortable and very clean. The service was excellent too. We enjoyed our stay overall.

The hotel is clean and organized.👍 Facilities are well-prepared for every customers. Staffs are so kind and helpful to provide immediate help. Some special services, like ordering meals and booking taxi are also welcomed. The location of the hotel is also quite convenient as it is near to the station. All in all, it is a recommendable hotel:)

It is near to MyeongDong and metro-station(Eujilro-Sam-Ga). The staffs speak great English and Mandarine. The room space although limited but it should be sufficient. It is not a hotel but more like a guesthouse, it is very easy to find where it located based on the direction given by the hotel staffs through email and my enquiry via facebook and... More

During our 2 days stay in 2nd Casa , was an enjoyable moment , room is comfortable and clean and the room that we booked was just nice for 2 person , and it only took around 5 minutes walking distance to the subway station ( with lots of restaurant and convenience store around the location as well), Friendly and... It is a bit difficult to find the 2nd casa as which is located at a pretty quiet area (among some printing companies), but it is close to the metro. The bed in the room is small but comfotable. While there is no bath curtain in the bathroom, so it is very easy to get wet.

The location is good really near metro station euljiro-sam-ga, 2 minutes from exit 9 and near Myeong dong about 5 minutes by foot. The staff is very nice and speak english very well, really helpful for me :) The room is small but nice. As an european I found the mattress too hard and they should maybe renovate the insulation... We had a great stay. The place is clean, has a good price and is centrally located. Take exit 9 at Euljiro 3 - turn right and follow the alley for about 40 metres. Take the next alley which bends a bit to the left. Staff was very helpful, friendly and speaks good English. The room is small but feels... More

I stayed at 2nd Casa for a night while my girlfriend was visiting Korea. While there wasn't much to do within walking distance of the hotel, it was only a couple of subway stops from many tourist hot spots such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insa-dong and Dongdaemun Market. The hotel itself was simple and clean. While the rooms were very small,... More

For the price, you cant go wrong. The building is nicer than I expected, because its surrounded by dirty factories on a narrow alleyway. The rooms are small but nice. They call it breakfast, but its really just tea. The staff is super friendly. The location is near a subway and its within a 5 minute walk of the biggest... More

Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighborhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighborhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighborhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighborhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.
