It's a little bit of a schlep up a steep hill out of town, but a really good place to stay. Bar was nice if a little smoky, staff really helpful. Nice bar with great views and a good breakfast selection. Excellent English spoken by all,

Enjoyed the Hotel. It was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. WiFi was consistent and fast enough to watch a football match on an IPad. Outdoor pools don't appear to be common in Tbilisi although this one is small. Staff were excellent - Helpful and friendly. Rooms very very large although a little dated in the original part. I'd... Food was extremely mediocre, but we had a great time here for happy hour. The wine was superb-and if you are looking for Engish-speaking folks, this was the place to be on Friday night. Gorgeous view of Tbilisi, really cute place, nice pool in front. Rooms are about $145 a night. Would love to stay here some time. One problem:... More

Overall, the hotel is quite fine. It is nothing worth gushing about, but there are no atrocities to report either. The hotel is clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a place frequented by western visitors. One (potentially major) problem is that the patrons in the bar, and staff in the lobby, smoke heavily, creating... More

I would have loved to give this charming hotel all five stars, but smaller problems at the reception during checkout brings it down to four. It comes down to a "not so helpful as her colleague" at the lobby, when we were checking out and a wrong bill from the minibar. Another minor thing was the wifi connection in our... More

My experience of a five night stay at Betsy's was mostly positive, until the final night! First, the good things - and there are lots of good things. Betsy's (it appears) was a small hotel, but which has added on a new modern wing, where most of the bedrooms are located. Myself and two travelling companions each had single rooms... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2014

I spent four nights here with a group of fellow football supporters in September, and I very much enjoyed my stay. Note - there is an "old" part to the hotel (with a small number of rooms) and the larger "new" hotel - where our rooms were. Overall room quality was very good, with modern amenities, good quality bathroom, minibar,... More

Betsy's is a very good boutique hotel just up the hill and off main street, Rustaveli. Short walk (down) to restaurants and stores, metro, opera, Parliament, etc. Eclectic guests, popular with ex-pats and an always interesting snug bar.

Stayed here for two weeks in August. Outstanding made-to-order breakfasts (included in my room rate) nice ambience. Overlooked the city with a balcony. Good a/c and reliable wi-fi. Nice walk to funicular which had two good restaurants at the top. Funicular was in a park with a delightful Ferris wheel - on the top of the mountain about 1/4 mile... More
