The hostel is beautiful. Small, green, quite house surrounded by fruit trees. A lot of paintings inside. Really clean and tidy. But what is the greatest advantage of this place is staff. The owner is adorable - kind and hospitable. Ask her about anything - she will explain you everything :) The location is also really good - close to... More

This hostel was really hard for a taxi driver to find - he got impatient and nearly dumped us by the side of the road. Eventually we got there and were welcomed by the friendly mother and son duo that run the place. The room itself was fine... unfortunately there was not a locker available in our room for valuables,... More

Once I booked Green House Maia emailed to provide advice about arriving and how to get to Green House. That got things off to a good start in Georgia. Upon arriving we were delighted with how informative Maia was, not only this but as we travelled through the night, we woke up to pancakes and home-made apricot jam. The location... More

Before I went to Tbilisi, I read a few reviews about hostels, and that one was most interesting. To be honest, it Was hard to find in middle of the night but worth it. Cosy, good locations and great atmosphere. Helpful Woman on the front desk knows almost everything what we needed, so travel thru the city was much easier... More

I do not know, why people like this place. I have traveled with my girlfriend previous autumn and we reserved this hostel. We expected it to be clean, quiet, comfortable place in city center. When we got there, it turned out, none of them where true. Hostel is located on 15 minutes walk distance from main attractions of Tbilisi and... More

A belated review but I stayed here a few nights back in October and have to say Green House was my favourite accommodation in Georgia. Maia's place is a beautiful, cosy home with paintings on the walls, in a quiet area and just a 5-10 min walk up to Freedom Square. Maia is one of those people you could sit... More

I was here for a total of 5 nights and felt welcome from the first minute. Never coming to Georgia before, I had a lot of help with directions, where to eat, what to see. They even helped me go to see a wine region to taste the famous Georgian wine. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in and... More

First Maya and her family were really helpful, organizing a car from the airport when we arrived and waiting for us, giving suggestions on how to enjoy our trip in Georgia, bringing us to the bus stop when we were leaving. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, 2 shared bathrooms and a kitchen you can use with free tea and... More

We stayed here on two occasions, after landing in Georgia and before leaving. Maya was helpful and welcoming. The neighborhood is very quiet, as opposed to the rest of the old city, and it was also walking distance to anything we wanted (including the airport bus)
