Envoy is a great home base while visiting Tbilisi. You can easily spend more money for an inferior experience at other hotels and guesthouses. Whether you want the traditional community-oriented "hostel experience" or complete privacy, you can stop looking: Envoy is your place. The location is ideal - right up the hill from Meidani Square, below Narikala Fortress in Old... More

Clean and comfortable hostel located in old Tbilisi. Walking distance to Republic Square, Sulphur Baths, Narikala Fortress. Bathrooms, toilets are clean. Nice chill-out area. Wifi signal is strong. Their tours are priced on a high side and I didn't do any tours with them. I chose a tour with another hostel. Stayed at 3 different hostels during my stay in... More

We've been staying in this hostel over the last 3 weeks in between our travels around Georgia and it has been very useful for us. The staff are very friendly, good English, and helpful with information. It is very clean all the time and brekkie is basic but fine. The location is very easy to get around from; cheap local... Booked directly with the hostel by email and paid 50 per night for a private single not ensuite (about £18). Includes breakfast - bread and jam with either cheese, an apple or yogurt depending on the day - i asked if I could have a boiled egg instead and it was really nice of Peete (so sorry about the spelling)... best place for any adventure searching traveler. If you look for a place where staff is great, common rooms are full of great people, tours make you laugh and see all you need to with great knowledge of the history and stories to tell, then you have found just a place. Excellent place, would go back in a tick :)

I didn't stay at the Envoy Hostel but booked a private daytrip to the monasteries of Northern Armenia with them. They were very good with a last-minute change I had to make to my plans and I was picked up promptly by a driver and guide in Freedom Square. We drove down to the border, which was pretty straightforward to... More
