This Marriott sits on one of the main avenues of beautiful Tbilisi. You can walk to most attractions and the downtown area from here. The restaurant is quite good with a delicious varied breakfast offering. Rooms as with most old buildings renovated can be hot or miss. We stayed two different dates on different rooms one was a tad small... More

The location of the hotel is excellent and the décor impeccable. However, the food was very average and not at all how described in the menu for example I ordered chicken and potato skewers and was given breaded chicken strips with chips!! When I queried it, the waitress insisted that these are the skewers!! Also, they seemed to be in... More

After nearly 26 hours of flight, delays the only thing i was looking for was the calm environment to get some needed Zzzzzz. Upon arrival, i was greeted by amazingly friendly and knowledgable staff. I couldn't have asked for better accommodations. close enough to old Tbilisi city center that you can walk it! On the way enjoy stops at local... More

Stayed in this hotel for almost a week and the best part about the stay was hotel's location. Room service food is average, even though the order was for 2 persons, we got only 1 cutlery set. Lobby bar's ambiance is not really relaxing, cocktails for 2 persons are brought at different time which I think is totally wrong for... More

Beautiful Grande Dame! Had a beautiful suite (601). The breakfast buffet is lovely. Ate lightly in bar - pizza was good, but onion soup was thin without the usual cheese topping. Staff speak good English, and the Internet is also good.

I stayed there for a night. The room was very good, clean. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was close to everything. Special thanks to Maria at the reception WHO helped me to arrange a taxi,. The only bad point was the wornout bathroom shower equipment. And it was expensive.. The paid wifi for such an expensive... This pre Soviet built hotel circa 1915 is but one of many iconic buildings in Rustaveli Street and adjacent to the scene of the massacre on the 9th of April 1989. It's location is both perfect and a great reminder of the suffering of the Georgians. Unfortunately our stay was limited to only two nights and was a thorough delight... More

My first visit to Tbilisi and what a really good stay. Room ticked all the right boxes - clean (bedroom and bathroom), spacious rooms, quiet and location. Really nice reception staff who were really helpful. I hope to go back to Tbilisi and will look forward to staying here again.

Luxurious rooms, great food, long breakfasts, coffee while working in the lounge, and friendly staff. It's right on the main avenue of Tbilisi with great access to shopping, museums, restaurants and the Old City. Some colleagues thought the coffee was expensive, but at least you get a decent serve instead of half a cup. The Sunday special lunches were great... More

The building itself is a lovely, well done Soviet grand hotel, wonderfully restored. Check in was fast and easy, help was quickly offered. The room was great, with all the modern conveniences. Good breakfast, but has little local color. Problems: you need to re-enter your username and password often to get WiFi, and it is not that fast. Service at... More
