To start with this place cannot qualify as a 3 star hotel. There is hardly any pros about the hotel. First of all, they messed up our booking information and instead of 6 nights they registered us for 4 nights, and after the 3rd night mentioned that we have to move out because the room will be given to someone... I would definitely come back to Georgian House. We stayed here on our last night as we passed through to fly home and we both regretted not booking here for our first two nights in Tbilisi as we would have paid half the price for much better rooms. The hotel is situated in a great part of town. It's a... More

Good location near Tbilisi metro station. Rooms have been updated and painted however the room we stayed in plumbing problems and curtains. Breakfast could be better for the 100 Gel per night. on the whole this hotel has improved compared to what I read in previous posts.

The hotel is nice. It's an old, traditional house with huge rooms, high ceilings, nice bathrooms, lots of wood. It's centrally located, although, as the other reviews say, it's a very small road leading to the house. I didn't like the staff, I arrived late at night, as a single, female traveller, and there were about 6 man just standing... More

Stayed here recently (and briefly) for one night. The first room that I was given on the upstairs level smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke - an absolute deal-breaker for me, considering that I requested non-smoking in my original booking - so I asked if it was possible to switch rooms. The front desk person at that time was very... More

Georgian House Hotel in serious need of repair and updating. I was disappointed and upset after seeing the room. The furniture was years older than me. Chair with threadbare upholstery which was formerly green is now gray-brown-green and leaky foam so that visible spring. Bed had worn upholstery and had mismatching size bedding of various sizes. Was it impossible to... More

I stayed here due to the link with the tour company I booked my trip to Georgia with which was called Exotours. I was excited because the reviews I read were all pretty good. I think this company needs to find a new hotel in Tbilisi but I fear there is some nepotism going on. I was very disappointed with... More

In a great part of Tiblisi with market stalls, cafes and lots of street life. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. I had a large comfortable room with effective and quiet aircon. Only stayed one night but would certainly go back.

I stayed in two hotels in Tbilisi and this was the second one.....in hindsight, if I had found this one first I probably would have stayed here longer.....I have two problems with hotels....a)I like to stay in local hotels where local people stay (this way I get a better feel for the place I am visiting) and b)I also like...
