At arrival, at 2.00 a.m. a sleepy night porter who doesn’t speak a word of English, show you to the “room with a view”: small, old and worn out – a hovel – offering a small and squeaky bed, covered with sheets and blankets not worth that name . Colorless wallpaper, a window that’s hard to close and worse to... More

While this is not an international 4 star hotel, it has its charm. In our first room, the water pipes froze so they immediately moved us to a deluxe room (we think we were the only ones in the hotel) No breakfast was served the next morning, probably for that reason. The mold on the walls in the room was... More

My husband and i stayed there 4 nights, June 2012. Because of this hotel, our Georgia trip turned the nightmare. The receptionist (the name was Mari) who only could speak English was always away from her place. The breakfast offered from 9am (it was too late for tourists), so we asked they could serve a little bit earlier and they... More

Hard to beat the location of this hotel for the old town and Rustaveli area. It was clean and comfortable with helpful staff. We were lucky that our room was available when we showed up at four in the morning from the airport and they let us in to get some sleep! The breakfast was pretty standard for Georgia. I... More

The wifi worked in half of our room (located at the very top of the house) which was not a big deal. What we did not like was that we spent four nights (in fact three as we left for the airport in the night) which makes 400 GEL and no one came to clean our room during our stay.... More

This place proved to be a gem. We moved in and out of Tbilisi, making it a base for side trips to Zugdidi and Sukhumi, as well as Goris and Stepanakert. As our itinerary was loose we could not make reservations but were fortunate to find rooms there three of four times we tried. Our stay each time was very... More

Bad, very bad! I run away from this "hotel" after the first night! We paid 50€ per one bedroom smelling and uncomfortable! Facilities inside the room didn't work or worst were not at all. Room was cold and humid.bedroom was not double but with two single beds! Moreover other guests were noisy all the night long. Really really bad experience!

I planned to spend 4 nights but moved out after the first night. I was in a single room. The room was not too bad but the bathroom was dirty and the shower was broken. A large group of Russian tourists sang and drank all night...............

The hotel is old, as the same name states (dvzveli means old!), but it is in a very good position. Central, very close to Liberty square metro station (5 mins walking) and to the old part of Tbilisi. You just have to walk down the nice Leselidze str. The hotel is quite basic but rather confortable. At the reception you... More

I wonder why this hotel is not rated more frequently, as it is centrally located, value for money, clean, nice spacious rooms and en suite bathrooms. Our room had even a fridge as well as a semi-separated sitting area giving you the feeling you stay in a suite. Breakfast is all right also, although I heard someone complaining, but it... More
