Stayed here as part of a G Adventure tour and it was adequate with good location and rooms. The restuarant was ok with simple dishes but I remember the breakfast wasn't that great with the cooked buffet food being cold. The location was close to the centre and you can get a taxi easily from reception. The rooms were quite... More

Hotel Location is Good. Nearby you can find lots of Markets. Hotel staff is also very helpful. But food quality is weak point for this hotel. Would suggest to have some affective master chef in the kitchen.

This Hotel was picked for us by our travel agent, Tony, from Baron Travels (who we also highly recommend) and it could not have been more perfect for our needs, especially given that it was "Water Festival" and almost everything was shut. We were an Aussie family of 6 doing a pilgrimage south to where our father was a Prisoner... More

The Panorama Hotel's location in the busseling city of Yangon is centrally located to resturants, markets and generally all of the places for sight seers. We stayed there several nights as we were in and out of the city. Each time I felt safe and the facilities was basically clean and functional. Each morning we enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet... More

We stayed their three times while on a 17 day trip to Myanmar. It's in a really good location, clean and with friendly helpful staff. Next door is a major supermarket/department store. Can access all parts of Yangon from this hotel. We stayed on 9th floor and from our window could see at night the Shwedagon and Sule Pagoda. Yangon... More

This is a nice hotel, yes it's not new but it is very acceptable for the budget to mid range traveller. Air conditioned, and good hot water at least in rooms, 507, 809, and 605 that I stayed in on three visits. The service is well worth 4 stars, with free bag storage, money changing and bag delivery service. The... More

This is a dingy hotel, but what would you expect in Yangon at this early stage of development? The value isn't really that good. I would have preferred to pay far less for these kind of accommodations. The room was very plain and the bathroom was passable. There was nothing wrong, per se, but I just didn't feel like I... More

The Panorama is an excellent starting point after any long journey to Burma. Not cheap but not expensive or too removed from local people (like some in Yangon). Rooms are big and clean. Several restaurants very close and even a few bars (males only though). Really close to main indoor market, train station booking office and Sule Pagoda. The staff... More

I stayed at the Panorama hotel in March 2014 for two nights at the beginning of my tour and a night at the end of the tour. I arrived to the hotel at 2am to be welcomed by a friendly receptionist and porter. Some of the rooms are slightly tired but have all the facilities needed and also offer tooth... More

We stayed here at the beginning and end of a small group tour of Myanmar. The hotel certainly wasn't grand but the rooms were comfortable and clean, the air conditioning worked well and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The free wifi wasn't fast but actually worked better than pretty much anywhere else in Myanmar and the... More
