We stayed at the Classique twice on our recent trip to Myanmar. Kalya and her staff were great and helped us with itinerary and trip arrangements. The Inn is located in the high rent district well away from the noisy downtown areas but transport (though pricey and not elegant) was always available. More

In a city you cannot define as friendly, this little hotel is an anchor when going places from and to the capital. You have an option between ground floor, where you stay in standard rooms at a reasonable price, and first floor with larger, sunny and more comfortable rooms, at around 75usd. But you will not experience any noise from... More

Locally owned and managed Classique Inn offers excellent, personal service. Downstairs room was well appointed with fridge and airconditioning plus spacious bathroom. Restaurant a little expensive but tasty food. Just need Air Bagan's office which is a good landmark for taxis. Also a French restaurant around the corner offers an interesting menu. Very relaxing location about 15 minute (2,000/3,000 kyat... More

Kayla and her team offered such hospitality and services. Helping with travel arrangements and general advice made traveling in this wonderful but little known country go smoothly. More

Very well maintained. Very clean floor thanks to frequent mopping. Their website doesn’t mention but there is wifi, there is a PC you can use for free but you can bring your own laptop/iPhon,iPad etc. Internet speed was not too slow. To my surprise, I could see BBC news (with bad sound) in my room. The Single room (US$35) is... More

Quiet location. Distance from centre not really a problem. Shwedagon Pagoda 20-25 min walk. Or get reception to book a taxi (2000-3000 kyat to centre) Staff very helpful. Had a couple of evening meals. Quite expensive for Myanmar, but tasty food. More

Classique is a family run guest house, and this is the type of accommodation that we like. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The manager was very helpful with every question we had., including good restaurants and ordering taxis. We stayed in a small room downstairs on the first night - Teak Standard room (Queen), and when we... More

We had to change our booking at the Panda and managed to get a last minute room at the Classique. All the staff are very helpful and friendly and although it is further out there are several good restaurants close by. We felt that it was good to get out of the hustle of town and although our room was... More

We stayed at this hotel November 2011. The location is quiet, for sure. The staff is friendly and the manager helps to organize your travel. In the transformed living house all the rooms are individually decorated and have different sizes - unfortunately we got the tiny broom closet on the ground floor close to the reception with a tiny bed...
