Initially you may think that the rate (20 to 30 USD, depending on the room type, Jan 2015) is a good deal, if you compare it to those despicable rundown hotels that represent the hospitality market in Yangon. Myanmar is the worst place in south east Asia in terms of value for money when you are a traveller. You realize... More

The hotel has small rooms and a very experienced managing team. Highly attentive staff, solid room functions, clean place. Good breakfast. A good place to start off Myanmar. Very central. The wifi was a bit weak.

This hotel is very overpriced at around 40 USD/night/double. Location is great and breakfast very good with option to request a local breakfast which most guesthouses where we stayed in the country did not offer but the quality of the room does not warrant the 40 USD/night.

I just needed a hotel for one night in Rangoon, so it was the right choice. The room was clean, even if small for the price. The staff is very kind and helpful, and breakfast was good. It is located not so far from the center of the cit.y

The good thing about this hotel is that it is easy to find. If you tell a taxi driver "Sakura Tower", everyone knows where it is. Then it is about 2 mins. walk from the tower. Most of rooms don't have windows, but I heard that it is common in Yangon. The room was clean, even you walk w/out shoes,... More

Nice clean room compared to other hotels of similar price, my first night was spent in one other hotel that I could safely sleep in but due to the fact that I arrived mid night and don't have much of a choice(with the price range) I stayed overnight and the next morning luckily I found beauty land II hotel with... Overpriced for the type of accomodations provided (35usd for a small double room). My girlfriend found the bathroom dirty. There was no safety deposit box in the room. However they had friendly and helpful staff and a convenient location.

This was the first accommodation I stayed at in Myanmar, so it was a shock to see what you get for your money. Myanmar accommodation & long distance transport is a lot dearer than other S.E. Asian countries - so don't compare! However, food is dirt cheap. The hotel is in a really central location with lots of places to... More

Booked a standard room with attached bathroom for one night. Small but very clean room. Located in downtown Yangon on a narrow street and the exterior of the hotel do not impress but once you're inside, you're greeted by their warm and friendly staff. Within walking distance to famous Bogyoke market, railway station and other major attractions in downtown Yangon.... More

Found this hotel to be excellently located just a stones throw away from the train station. Also easy walking distance to main attractions. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good, but I didn't try any of the other meals. Rooms were clean and well appointed for the price. People have to remember that the standard of hotels and... More
