Friendly staff and clean rooms - food not great but there are lovely restaurants nearby. It's location is very good to visit Shewdagon Pagoda and People's Park. Also, there are a few art galleries nearby.

First off, the gym and pool area were excellent. Hotel is a clean, comfortable and affordable place in the city near the largest temple in town and close to people's park. There are nicer hotels in the world, but for good food, friendly service, clean accommodations and a great pool and gym, this place fits the bill!

Understanding that Myanmar is facing a shortage of hotel rooms, the Summit Parkview is a fine, if underwhelming choice. The location is right near the Pagoda and main Park, and has nice common areas. The restaurant, bar, and pool are nice as well. Very friendly staff who spoke English quite well. There is nothing bad about this property, it is... More

I stayed here during my second visit to Myanmmar and had an excellent stay. The breakfast spread is excellent, it has so many varieties and choices. The rooms are very well done and quite spacious. Few rooms have the view of Pagoda and others have the back view of the swimming pool. While you check in, ask them for rooms... More

There is a bit of a 'has been' over the Parkview in Yangon. It was probably grand 10 years ago (and even stunning, considering Myanmar's political past), but now it's just a normal large hotel. Access and lobby are inviting, the rooms are OK (even if the bathrooms deserve some TLC) and nicely equipped with a fan and working AC.... More

This hotel must of been real grand when it was first built-they are renovating it at the moment (half is already done & very good). Very comfortable room with a view of the peoples park, great restaurant (witnessed 3 weddings while we were staying), swimming pool etc. It is central to the Shwedagon Pagoda, lakes & close to downtown Yangon.... The Parkview is located across the street from the people's Park and near the Shwedagon Pagoda. The park is worth visiting, but there is a small entrance fee, so take some local currency. They are making an effort here, but there is still garbage scattered everywhere, especially anything plastic. The Temple is close but with oppresive heat it is not... More

Stayed at the hotel on a business trip in a small group. Location is in central Yangon, across from the People's Park and quite close to Shwedagon Pagoda, so for tourists, this may be an added benefit. Building is standard hotel architecture from the 90s, nothing exceptional about it. Same about the rooms, normal sized, good furnishings, good bathroom, clean,... More

While entering the hotel itself , one is impressed by the well maintained lawns. The car park is massive running the full length of the hotel. The staff are very pleasant. In the lobby there are Burmese musical instruments and a musician plays it in the morning. The rooms are quite good. My room had a good view of the... More

We stayed here for almost a week because of illness and I can think of many worse places to get stuck. The rooms are nice and comfortable having recently been freshened up and always immaculately clean. The pool is a good size, if a little chilly and could do with a few more sun loungers. It is located right opposite the... More
