This is a hotel with local vibes. Clean and recently renovated, the rooms are relatively large and very comfortable. If you're in luck or perhaps on request, you'd get a room with the view of the Shwedagon pagoda. I love that there is a ceiling fan in all the rooms I've stayed. Sometimes I'd switch off the air-con and let natural air... More

Well, first things first. The hotel has a great location. If you are get the front view rooms you see a vase green expanse of people's park over flanked by Shwedagon Pagoda. The hotel has swimming pool, a gym and a small bar. I really liked that there was a huge park in the front and that there is plenty... More

The rooms are large and I had the breakfast at the hotel which it is pretty good. There is live music at night in the bar. Not much people there which is nice if you want... More

This hotel was arranged by a tour provider and I didn't know what to expect. However, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised! The lobby was clean and the front desk was efficient. The room has a ceiling fan and a strong ac that cools the room down quickly. The shower has plenty of hot water and the best... More

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful, all staff from the General Manager to the door man were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as they could. There is a great gym, pool with towels and food and drinks could be ordered from the resturant. There are lots of places to eat... More

The Summit Parkview in Yangon was the hotel included in our Intrepid tour of Myanmar. Our friends and my husband and I arrived several days before the tour to take in the city, not realising that we had chosen the holiday period of the Buddhist New Year and the Water Festival. Everything (all shops and many restaurants) except the pagodas... More

Very clean & quiet inspite of location by roadside of heavy traffic. Flatscreen TV & comfy bed. Room may have view of park and beautiful pagoda. A bit far out from downtown but cabs are not a problem at anytime of day/ night. Hotel's restaurant serves very good quality foods with musicians playing soft music while you dine. Next to... More

The hotel may be one of the first in Yangon however they have maintained it very very well. Located just walking distance from the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Check in was quick. Do request a room facing the Pagoda. Was upgraded to their newly renovated rooms. Bfast buffet was a wide choice with a great live cooking section at the terrace.... More

Centrally located in Yangon with a great view of Shwedagon Pagoda. Rooms very comfortable, clean with all the basic amenities. Very nice and pleasant staff - reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff. Relatively fast internet services. Good value for money

Situated close to the Shedagon Pagoda. Stayed on three occasions as part of group tour of Myanmar. All rooms have wifi but if you have more that one device you need two passwords. Clean hotel with friendly staff; lovely restaurant across the road and dined there twice. Large pool practically deserted so no problem getting an umbrella, but only a... More
