The price is quite a bit less when you book online with this hotel, even if you decide to extend...better book online. Hotel has one restaurant next door that opens at night only...and serves the worst Mexican food I've ever had.....so you must take a taxi....very cheap in Burma to somewhere else to walk around an area with restaurants...

The hotel is in the city centre and hence very convenient to walk to the market and many restaurants as well as Sule Pagoda etc. The staff are very friendly and tried to help every time. Even though I do not regret, minor negatives I experienced during my stay are the following: 1. Lift failure as well as power failure... More

Finding a good value hotel in Central Yangon proved really hard. I spent ages researching hotel different sites and areas in Yangon to stay in. Finally chose this hotel and wasn't disappointed. It took 45mins from the airport in a taxi at peak time and cost 8000 kyat. When the taxi pulled up outside all you could see and hear... More

To start with the WiFi speed is back in the 1990s, the tv picture is far from clear and the food served seems to come from outside as they keep telling me 20 minutes to serve a meal?? Staff try hard, and are very pleasant. The room is very basic with fridge, safe, no furniture apart from a bed and... More

Great position.... that's all. It is really near the city center, 5 minutes walk from Sule Pagoda and Indipendence Monument BUT it is overpriced, personnel was not smart at all and rooms are noisy. Let me better explain why: the hotel is located in a small Street right behind the horrible Shangri-La Hotel (I will never understand how it is... More

This hotel was an average hotel, it was the best we could get with our budget. It was walking distance and close to many things. Hotels in Myanmar are either a 2 star or a 5 star, nothing in between. There was warm water, wifi, AC, and a nice bed. A bit small in space, but it was only for... More

This hotel is located in a very convenient area, just behind the Shangri La. Walking distance to the Bogyoke Market and Sule Pagoda. Also walk to India and China Towns areas. The rooms are modern, comfortable and well appointed. WiFi, Coffee making, AC, TV, Hair Dryer and In Room Safe. Bed is comfortable and large. Staff are very friendly. Always... More

Traveling alone for once, I just wanted an easy to access hotel to visit and this one did the trick. Located right behind Traders by Shangrila it is a short walk away from Sule Pagoda, the Strand, Chinatown and Bogyoke market. Rooms are small and painted all in white so you kind of have an hospital feeling... TV is hanging... More

The major advantage of this hotel is its location. Hence, expect to pay more for a small hotel which is probably rated 2 to 3 stars in other cities. Clean and small room. Breakfast is ok. Internet connection is not stable.

Great little find and excellent location. Good value for money, clean, friendly, perfect for that 2-3 night stay in Rangoon. Don't come expecting luxury, but don't expect anything less than you pay for. Highly recommend this place as a stopping off point. The food in the restaurant is surprisingly good. The breakfast was a bit ho-hum, but for a quick... More
