Stayed here for 3 nights on 3 separate ocassions during our trip to Myanmar. Hotel is very centrally and conveniently located so can walk to most key sights and to choice of restaurants. Bit tired in terms of decor and furnishings but ok. Probsbly best descibed as functionsl. Air con works well and also has much better wifi than most... More

we spent one night in the hotel which was OK - the rooms are clean and allthough it is close to a big street, it is not too loud. Location is good as you can walk around the city centre from there. No ratng of food possible as no dinner or breakfast has been tried.

This has to rate as the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in . I was put into room 221 a small dark room with frosted plastic on the windows. On opening the window I was directly inline with a raw sewage pipe from above that made a splashing noise all night - it stank really bad - so... More

If you only have a day or two in Yangon, this is a decent hotel to live in. Basically, the hotel is so central that many things are within your doorstep: 1) Boygote Market is right across the street. 2) You have the modern and the old architecture for photo taking. 3) The cinema is around the corner for a... I will not be the first to point out the location of this hotel. Yes, it is absolutely centralised and within walking distance to most interesting sights in Yangon. Train station is just around the corner. Hotel itself is basic, but relatively clean. Breakfast is poor, you may consider giving it up and eat in a cafe next door. Note,... More

I spent 2 nights in a single room. The only good point is the location, close to park, temples, and tourist market. Wifi service is free of charge. The hotel is very old. My room was located in the 3rd floor. It was horrible. There are some holes in wall between bathroom. Bed was dirty and small. Room was too... More

I stayed at this hotel for a week and found it to be very nice. Since I was on a business trip and had a lot of meetings in Yangon, Central hotel's location was an absolute plus! The hotel itself is good with excellent friendly staff. The restaurant had decent dishes for lunch and dinner as well. Would definitely stay... More

If you are searching for fair-price tourist accommodation, Central Hotel is my recommendation. Location-wise, it is in the city down-town district, along the main Bogyoke Aung San Road. It is within walking distance to Bogyoke Aung San Market, Sakura Tower, City Hall, Pagoda and Yangon Railway Station. You are able to taste all sorts of hawker food, night markets in... More

This hotel is very well located and within easy distance of the Scott Market. The room was of good size, bed comfortable and well kept. The breakfast was delicious, especially the lime juice and mohinga. It could be more attractively designed, but it really does the job and from what I've read on the web, it is MUCH better than... After reading through some comments by travelers, i decided to book directly with the hotel. Firstly, Ms Yumon was very efficient with her replies and confirmation on the booking. And she will remind you from time to time. My booking came with 1 way transfer from airport, compliments of the hotel. I had taken a suite since i had my... More
