Sule is always the place people go for meetings or to get the best WiFi in town, but I stayed there for 3 nights and got to see the other side of Sule, and it was definitely more than I was expecting! extreme attention to detail, super friendly staff and an Icon of downtown Yangon.

We stayed in Sule for 2 nights. As all other reviews mentioned, excellent service was shown the moment you stepped out of your car in the lobby. Received by smiling staff, from the bellboy to the reception. Speedy check-in without any hassle. Horizon Club Lounge was splendid, breakfast spread was great. Happy hour in the Club consisted of tapas and... More

I have stayed in this hotel several times but this trip I brought along my mother and my 5 year old son. The service experience from the time we arrive at the hotel until the time we left was fantastic. We booked the room with breakfast so we had all our meals at the Cafe Shule. The buffet spread is... A great location, and good facilities are what you expect from a five star hotel. But where Sule Shangri-La really excels at is service. From the moment you arrive to the minute you step into the taxi, you feel as if you are someone special. Staff make an effort to greet you at every point, and after just three days... More

The hotel is well situated in the downtown of Yangon (takes about 40 minutes in Taxi from the Mingaladon airport). The river, Strand road, Sule Pagoda, Central park, Shopping Mall, Money exchanger & Scott Market/ Bogyoke Aung San Market (closed on Monday) are only few minutes walking distance. This would be a good choice if somebody wants to stay at... More

Having stayed with Shangrila before, the minute i step into Shangrila Yangon, Sule it brought back the immediate familiar warm feeling you will expect of this 5 star chain. The grand lobby area, reception counter, concierge, the rooms and the signature morning breakfast. My family stayed there in 2014 and our kids immediately recognized the familiar restaurant setting, and yes... More

Stopped here for 2 nights in a club room as part of our 3 week stay in mayanmar. Room was large with all the amenities you needed. The club lounge was a great way to relax after trips out or just to switch off at the start of your holiday. The staff in the club lounge were excellent, very friendly... More

I stayed at Sule for 3 days on a business trip and although I agree with previous reviews that it doesn't have the wow factor, it delivers on everything else. It's location in downtown Yangon means you can pretty much walk anywhere (it's very safe even at night) and an easy walk to Sule Pagoda and People's Park. Shwedagon Pagoda... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a holiday exploring Myanmar. Hotel was busy but felt like a sea of calm compared to the traffic hustle & bustle outside. Room was spacious and comfortable, if a little dated. Our rate included access to the Club floor, which offered guests evening drinks/canapés. Gym was good; there's also an outdoor pool.... More
