My husband and I spent three great days at this hotel. The ambience is wonderful the hotel being set in the quiet embassy district in a colonial mansion. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous including local Burmese staples and we had one dinner at the hotels main restaurant which was equally fantastic. The only slight downside was the slightly outdated decor... More

I'm sorry I had only one night to stay at this property. Beautiful grounds, quiet and comfortable room with great A/C, and outstanding food and beverage options. I enjoyed the enormous breakfast buffet so much that I returned from my exploration of the city for lunch, which was even better. I recommend the Mohingya, the tomato salad, the butterfish...heck, everything... More

So stunning! Amazing service and stunning rooms. The food is fantastic. From breakfast to the amazing buffet which is the best way to try local cuisine. The staff were so helpful with booking activities and cars. Could not recommend more highly

A lovely character property set in an old teak merchant's house. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent. Everyone seemed like they really cared. Our room was beautiful with large pieces of solid teak furniture, a huge bed and all immaculately clean. The pool and gardens were well cared for and the whole place had a... More

beautiful grounds, great service and food, close to Schwedagon Pagoda, a ten minute ride away from down town. Rooms are large , price was fair, choices of food was excellent, staff extremely helpful. I like the size, not too big

I stayed there on my recent visit and found it to be the he best Hotel in Myanmar. Great sense of place and professionally manage. Loved the pool and garden areas. A calming spot in the middle of a hectic city.

What a wonderful hotel with excellent staff- the rooms are exquisite & beautifully furnished down to the smallest of detail. The pool area is charming and very understated. Totally, heart-stoppingly beautiful. It feels like stepping into a beautifully preserved, amazingly luxurious bygone era. Expensive, but totally worth it. Nowhere else like it on the planet. Pool is fabulous, cocktails and food wonderful, staff amazing and atmosphere second to none. Feels like such a haven in hot and crowded Yangon and has been restored in such a sensitive and... More

The beautiful hotel, accommodations and restaurant is only outdone by the impeccable service and staff. As a small example, I went to the front desk to request a second razor as our luggage did not make it on our tight connection at Hong Kong. By the time I walked back to my room, (30 seconds maybe) a smiling gentleman was... More
