Although the hotel is ordinary if compared with outside Yangon, it has the green garden to provide a ambient environment for the stay there. Good exercise to walk toward the Srigadon temple at about 6:30 am when it is still cool. The inhouse chef cooks for the hotel owner's family daily and so his skills is good, especially the steam... The restaurant is located inside queen hotel, just behind the lobby. The menu covers European and a lot of Asian plates. The food is good but it's a little bit overpriced, compared to other restaurants. Service is fast and gentle. It's a nice choice if you stay at queen hotel and don't want to go out, Otherwise you'll find better... More

This hotel is located in the former embassy of Yugoslavia in a building dating from the 1950s. In the backyard a number of additional rooms are built in an appartment block. The hotel could be easily upgraded into a boutique hotel. What it needs is fresh white paint, new carpets and a cleanup of old electric wires and a bit... More

Only one night in this hotel which is not too expensive and has a good location not far from Shwedagon Pagoda. However, it's old and that shows in the room furniture and bathroom amenities. No wifi in the rooms and poor internet connection in the dining room. So they really need to do a lot of work to make this... More

Stayed one night in this place which was reasonably priced and conveniently located. The rooming upon arrival was not very welcoming, just guidance to the room without any explanation about anything. Wifi is only available in the breakfast restaurant, which turn the breakfast into an Internet cafe. The breakfast service itself was very slow, ok everyone came at the same... More

This bangalow type hotel is common in Yangon apart from the std hotel. They don't have fancy facilities but if you want a good place to rest from your visit to Yangon, it is sufficient enough. Right in town near a CityMart supermarket, walking distance to famous Burmese shrine. Some nearby restaurants too if you want a change from hotel... More

My wife and I together with a few of our friends stayed one night here before catching an early flight to Mandalay the following morning. Occupying a colonial bungalow with a three stories building at the rear it was a long walk from the reception to our room on the third floor. The bell boy himself was already panting on... More

On my first night here, I was awaken by the itchiness of my skin as the mosquitoes in the room were having a big feast on my body while I was sleeping. The shower pressure in the bathroom was also weak. This made bathing a chore as the lack of a water pressure made washing my hair doubly long. We... More

The place has a nice family feel and is a nice building but showing it's age. Nowhere else in this region of Asia would I have paid anywhere near $48 per night for a room in a place like this. There was not even a free bottle of water in the room! Laundry an minibar expensive- as often the case.... More

My wife and I stayed at the Queen Shin Saw Pu hotel in February. We liked it and we are now staying here for the summer. It is a 38 room Burmese hotel. The manager speaks English very well. He lives here with family. The staff is very friendly. We have gotten to know everyone. The manager's wife helped us... More
