If you are thinking of travelling to Myanmar you need to have your eyes open. There are some great things to see (Shwedagon Pagoda, Bagan, Lake Inle) but hotels are terrible. In Mandalay and Lake Inle my hotels could not produce a cup of coffee; in Bagan my hotel could not make me a cup of tea; hotels do not... More

I stayed there for 2 nights in the deluxe room with a colleague for a business trip. The room is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast spread is good and the breakfast area has a view of the pagoda.

I stayed for 2 weeks on a business trip. The hotel is in a pretty good location, near one of the parks rather than in the town centre. It has good facilities for business users. The rooms are comfortable, with good air conditioners. Also quite quiet. The paid for internet cards work well in the rooms - $8 for 1GB,... More

We splurged out a bit and paid for a room for 2 nights here. This is pricey for backpackers, but a great hotel. There were so many staff attending to us it was almost laughable as we are not used to having everything done for us by so many workers! Everyone was friendly, room was nice and restaurant food was... More

The room was comfortable, the bathroom roomy, the staff friendly, and the breakfast view of Shwedagon is nice, although the breakfast room is cantine style. Disadvantage: there is nothing really within walking distance, not even a 7/11 or similar supermarket.

I arrived the hotel around 7.30 am and so lucky to have the room checked in. The hotel front desk / concierge team helped explaining the city information and booked be a private car to visit the famous pagoda and temples. It was good stay even though the hotel was slightly hiding from the main street. As a solo traveller... More

First up, the Clover is ideally located in Yangon for those here for either business or pleasure. It's situated just to the north of Kandawgyi lake, and you can walk to the Shwedagon pagoda in less than 10 mins. The old city centre lies a relatively short taxi journey to the south, whereas to the north are situated many of... More

The hotel is really cozy and the staff made us feel we were at home. The location is just a 10 minute walk from Shwedagon Pagoda which is the main spot in the city. Breakfast was good enough with both local and international options. The hotel is away from the hassle in downtown and the view of the Shwedagon Pagoda... More

Stayed here at the start and end of a myanmarr tour. Easy to get to everywhere. HIdden down a busy back street close to shangri la hotel. Walking distance to market and plenty of shops and cheap eats. Room at end of trip was larger than first one which suited us two adults and one child better. Didn't bother with... More

This is a very comfortable clean hotel with very helpful staff. It is well placed and has excellent views of the Shwedagon pagoda both during the day and at night. The views are from the restaurant, which is simple but good value for money and has ideal one plate meals for when you want something light. Others have described the... More
