Mother Land Inn 2 is a great place to stay. It's clean, friendly staff, tasty breakfast and their free airport shuttle service alone, is worth the stay. Only should they focus a little bit more on the details. For example: in whole Yangon there is free filterted water available. Almost every shop has a big tank outside who anybody can... More

Over-priced, like everything in Myanmar. We paid $31 for a double with shared bath. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff are very helpful. If you want to start in Myanmar and no nothing, this is great place. You can meet lots of people coming and going and share tips. It is a bit far away from many... More

This is a really good crash pad. Like every accommodation in Myanmar, it's over priced, but you can't do much about it. This guesthouse was perfect for us. Great outdoor space in the front where you can enjoy breakfast while watching monks walk by. The breakfast here is amazing. First of all, it's free. Second of all, you have five... More

First time of us in Myanmar. Staff is very warm welcome after we arrive there. They are appreciate to ask us how to speak and written in Thai. Building applies from house. Even far from center but we can walk and see the Myanmar style building around. Booking them by email and must be paid directly via Western Union. No credit... More

Although it was recommended by guidebooks as one of the best budget accomodation, it was a bit of disappointment for us. However, the free airport transfer is a big plus and they were waiting for us in time. The breakfast was basic but ok, the wifi could be better but it worked. The rooms were basic but clean. The price... More

The hotel is located a little bit far from the city center but you can still walk there. It takes approximately 20-30mn. I really loved this place, the room is big, this is very clean and the staff is super friendly. Plus, there is a really good breakfast and the restaurant has good and cheap meals. However, the taxis outside... More

Stayed 3 nights here and rooms are very overpriced, as even the smallest and bare-bone room single room costs $20 a night. But you have to consider that this is Myanmar. Unlike Thailand or other south eastern asian countries, Myanmar's accommodations are mostly overpriced and not good values for money. So it's not just this place's problem. Staffs are very... More

I liked the Mother Land Inn 2, rooms were basic, I felt $30 was expensive for a double room with air conditioning, I was on the top floor and it was really noisy from outside. Good side is that the staff are really friendly and helpful, they organised a brilliant city tour for me, bus ticket and accommodation to Mandalay.... More

Overpriced and riding on the back of its Lonely Planet review, this hostel/hotel disappoints. It is in an extremely poor location, with a long walk into the city and on the wrong side of town to get a taxi to any sights / the airport - traffic in Yangon is very busy. We had a deluxe en-suite room and the... More
