The hotel provides a free shuttle taxi to and from the airport, great when you arrive at night after a long haul flight. Staff all friendly and helpful. Price reasonable, room very clean with good shower, Breakfast good, if you wish a traditional breakfast you must order the night before. It is quite easy and safe to walk into town... More

This hotel was one of the best we had in Myanmar (nice room even if a bit small, good breakfast, internet just ok) but is was really too expensive...30 dollars for a room is the same price in our country...anyway we tried to find cheaper, if you don't, go for this hotel. The bad point was the free pick-up..they had... More

This hotel is as you might expect : clean rooms (albeit on the small side), decent bathrooms. They provide a free shuttle to and from the airport for international flights. Motherland Inn 2 came highly recommended in the Lonely Planet which praises their sense of service and the useful advise they provide when it comes to travelling in Myanmar (they... More

For Burma standards this were the cleanest place we came across during our three weeks in the country. The price is high as anywhere else in Burma (I believe every Hotel/Hostel etc., has to pay for tourist permit in order to be allowed to have tourists staying in their resort). We got picked up in the airport when we arrived... More

Stayed in Mother's Inn for 3 nights in a single room. Rooms were clean though they had somewhat the look of a prison cell. As elsewhere in Burma, the price stands in no relation to the value. The hostel is quite far out of the center of town. The taxi's in front of the hostel are more expensive because the... More

This is the first place to start your journey. And the chances are high that it will not get better. Small western breakfast. Decent tour booking. Enough touch points to talk to other travelers. The place is just a bit outside town, but taxis are cheap and typically you don't stay longer than few days in yangoon. This place is... More

The staff at Mother Land 2 go way overboard in being of help, and particularly in helping to find & book accommodations in other parts of the country. However, Mother Land 2 is lacking in cleanliness - they need to clean up the muck in the street so you can enter without fouling up your shoes, and they need to... More

Stayed here 3 nights at start of trip and one at end. The staff here are excellent - they will organise things for you if you want, although no hard sell, will give you advice etc and generally do their best to help you. It's an average price for Myanmar, 35 dollars for private room with bsthroom. Bed is clean,... More
