Booking was confirmed prior to arrival via extremely nice and prompt emails from the staff at MLI2. We had booked 2 nights accommodation with airport transfer in May 2015 Our flight from Beijing was over 2 hours as we landed after midnight but the transfer had kindly waited and drove us to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and... More

Enjoyed our stay here. The hostel scene in Myanmar is, of course, not yet up to the standard offered in Vietnam, Cambodia or even Laos, but then it's not had as long to establish itself in that regard yet. With this in mind, for Myanmar, this got as close as we experienced to creating a friendly, value-for-money backpacker accommodation experience.... More

High rating in Lonely Planet guidebook means it was filed with European backpackers. Not a bad thing, just saying. It's decent, clean & cozy. Not big, but a very friendly & helpful staff. And a bit of a way to main area of town. Highly suggest hitting some of the very local bars within short walking distance. The locals were... More

At first I was apprehensive, but the warmth extended to me by the hotel staff was commendable. It may not be a five star hotel, but the standards are equivalent of five stars where the staff put themselves out no end to make your stay comfortable. The receptionist, kitchen staff , and even the owner were most pleasant. The driver... More

Situated some distance from central Yangon in a leafy albeit run down area Mother Land Inn 2 is very much a backpackers hostel. It is another oversubscribed hostel riding on its mention in the popular guide books. I winced at the non negotiable single room prices but found the (non AC sadly) dorm fairly reasonable for Myanmar tourist accommodation. It... More

Mother Land Inn is a friendly budget hotel with clean rooms, nice breakfast and comfortable beds. They also offer a free airport pick up. I forgot my mobile in a taxi organised by the hotel after already having checked out but the hotel did everything to help me get it back (although I was already heading towards Bagan in a... More

Mother Land Inn 2 is a great place to stay. It's clean, friendly staff, tasty breakfast and their free airport shuttle service alone, is worth the stay. Only should they focus a little bit more on the details. For example: in whole Yangon there is free filterted water available. Almost every shop has a big tank outside who anybody can... More

Over-priced, like everything in Myanmar. We paid $31 for a double with shared bath. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff are very helpful. If you want to start in Myanmar and no nothing, this is great place. You can meet lots of people coming and going and share tips. It is a bit far away from many... More

This is a really good crash pad. Like every accommodation in Myanmar, it's over priced, but you can't do much about it. This guesthouse was perfect for us. Great outdoor space in the front where you can enjoy breakfast while watching monks walk by. The breakfast here is amazing. First of all, it's free. Second of all, you have five... More
