I've been to the MLI2 when arriving in Myanmar through Yangon (useful free airport pick up service) and I went back when leaving the country (useful free airport drop off service) Rooms are standard and hotel is very clean, staff is lovely, had a great time joking and having fun with them. Internet connection is as good as you can... More

If it is gonna be bloody hot ask for the rooms on the other side or the ones in the middle. They have a airport pick up. Very conveniënt. Did not really liked the gum chewing front desk girls but that is just a small thing. Overall a nice place to meet some fellow travelers.

If it's your first time to Yangon, and you're alone, yes book here for a night. They have free pick up from the airport. If you're traveling in a group you can always share a cab and book somewhere else if you've enough budget for nicer accommodation. I and my bf booked our room here for 2 nights On the 9th... More

This place is awesome. The staff is amazing and are very helpful. The airport pickup is very convenient. I would suggest booking a room before you arrive because they are likely to be booked or have non-AC rooms if you don't. The cleanliness is above average for Myanmar which is not saying much but honestly, the service more than makes... More

Spent one night here on our last day of stay in Myanmar. Wonder why Lonely Planet goes ga ga over it. The place is a backpackers den. It is meant for young budget travelers, and not for families. Our room was large, but with a tiny window that faced a wall. The toilet was tiny and not clean. The sink... More

Located along a busy road with heavy traffic. The guesthouse is not that modern and needs a major makeover. Small rooms with bathroom. In our first room (rear), there was a lot of noise. Then got another room at the front and that was more quiet. Bathroom was rather dirty. Breakfast is included. However, the price paid is excessive for... More

I stayed here as a single traveler, I wanted to book the dorm room but they would only take bookings on the rooms, which is a bit annoying, but you do get a free airport transfer (worth $10), so it wasn't that much more to have a room. I think they should take bookings on the dorm and offer a... More

Before I arrive to the guesthouse I had made my full payment, in earlier email i requested double bed room but after payment made they replied me with twin bed room. This guesthouse kinda far away of walk distance to downtown main places. So it kinda good for people need quiet place. But the most unsatisfied of this guesthouse is... More

I stayed at Mother Land Inn 2 twice at the beginning and end of my Myanmar trip. I also dropped back in at one stage to leave my big bag so I could travel light to Mrauk U. Firstly the rooms (2 AC with ensuite and 1 fan with shared bathroom). All three rooms were clean and comfortable and everything... More

Nice little hotel with a good staff. My expericen was a bad one though. I came without booking and they did not have AC rooms available, I had to settle down for whatever they had. I had to pay them $27 for a non-AC room with shared-bathroom. The AC room is for $30, I was told. The reason I am... More
