We had an early flight from Yangon to Bangkok, so our travel agency recommended this, and for that purpose it was allright. We had ordered a poolside room, but got a room from totally other building, far from pool. Room was large, clean, beds allright, so it fullfilled our purpose. For a longer stay I would choose otherwise. Breakfast basket... More

We got put here after a flight was cancelled. First, I asked for a quiet room and they put us in one next to the road. The room was clean enough (only reason it has 2 rather than one star) but had quite a number of mosquitos in the room because staff had left the window open. The problems came... More

Strangely organized - not even clear whether the central building and poolside rooms are one hotel or two - and some problems with communication. But the room (poolside) was fine for a night, the dinner perfectly acceptable, the service fine, the free airport shuttle appreciated, the bathroom supplies (toothbrush, razor…) a nice touch. Definitely recommended if you're passing through Yangon.

We stayed there one night and would have not manage to stay there longer. A VERY basic accommodation, with very old furniture. Nothing going for it besides proximity to the airport. We stayed there on our layover to another city and it served the purpose.

We booked a poolside room as a treat for our last night in Myanmar at the myanmar life hotel. We have been given a room with a veranda overlooking the pool and to reach the pool you have to go down some stairs to a service road and then a 50m walk along the road to the pool. We have... More

Myanmar Life is a good choice for travellers that need to be close to the airport for late night/early morning flights. It is about 5 minutes from the airport which saves valuable time that might otherwise be spent trying to get into/out of central Yangon. It is clean and functional although certainly nothing fancy. The shower worked fine and had... More

My wife and I arrived very late in Yangon the day before a very early flight to Bagan. The easiest way to deal with this situation was to stay at the Myanmar Life Hotel. They were very nice to us at the hotel and the room was functional. The good news is that there was plenty of hot water and... More

do not be discouraged by the price the rooms were good and close to town and airport. swimming pool, and surprisingly quiet by the airport. The market is only 15 minutes away a 5 dollar ride. The hotel will book the cab and give you return details for the new driver after you have done the market. very good staff... More

I stayed here for 2 nights recently. The room was large but basic. Good AC and wifi ok. The tiny balcony was too small for furniture and overlooked a back street so remained unused. Specify a nice outlook. The breakfast was modest and unexciting, and the dining room was soul-less and deserted at night, although the food was good and... More

We chose to stay here on the last night of our trip due to our 8am flight to KL. The room was a decent size, It's only a few minutes to the Airport and it has a pool. The hotel gets a poor rating due to reception promising a airport transfer but not arranging it. On check in we were... More
