The positive thing about this hotel is that it is near the airport. But if the receptionist tells you they have no English map for Yangon then you start wondering. She eventually gave me a map in a Japanese magazine ,asking me to give it back to her before leaving! We only stayed for one night because of a very early flight,The... You can not expect it as a luxyry or stylish hotel, but it is clean and it got all basic items in rooms. For early flight traveler like me, this is perfect. Taxi from hotel to Airport took about 5 mins, charges 2,000 kyat if ordered by hotel stuff.

We stayed here for one night on our arrival as it was late when our flight reached the airport. As mentioned in most other reviews, this place is neither exceptional or bad. It serves you the purpose very well. Next day morning we moved to our next destination having spent the night. Recommended for short stays.

As other viewers here have commented, you have to view this hotel in the larger context of Myanmar. For the price (I think we paid $60 or $70 a night), this hotel would be atrocious in Thailand or other neighboring countries. For Myanmar, however, it's absolutely average and serves is purpose. I would recommend this for an overnight stay near... More

It's a challenge to review a hotel in a country where very few people will ever sleep in an air-conditioned room or take a hot shower. That being said, I'll put my thoughts out there... I stayed a week in one of the "basic" rooms in the main building. The room was simply furnished: wooden floors, two twin beds, wooden... More

We stayed here for one night and the ease of transport from the airport to the hotel (maybe 5 mins) was perfect for our purposes. Our room needed updating as did most of the hotel (welcome to Myanmar!) but it was quiet, clean, had decent Wi-Fi and the pool looked really nice. Food was also decent for dinner and large... More

A little further from the airport than expected but still easy to get there with a taxi. Rooms good but nothing special. The pool looked nice but we reached the hotel too late to try it out. They arranged breakfast boxes for us since we had to catch an early morning flight the day after. Given the alternatives, we could... More

We stayed in the new luxury rooms in the hotel towards the back of the hotel compound. The rooms were extremely spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a large walk in shower and bath. As the block is newly built all fixtures and fittings are new. The rooms also benefit from blackout curtains which are a real plus. Soundproofing... More

Right up front: great place to stay as you transition during your Burma adventure. Close to the airport, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable (firm), AC works great, and salt water swimming pool is a huge bonus. We ate both breakfast and lunch and Myanmar Life rocks. Breakfast buffet has both Asian and western fare to please all but those... More

We used Myanmar Life as a stop-over base in Yangon for our tour through Myanmar (see review 'Return to Myanmar' in forum). We spent four nights in all there, with breaks between them to visit different parts of the country. This hotel was selected because of proximity to the airport and an excellent swimming pool for relaxation between each trip.... More
