Asia Plaza is a largish hotel in a good downtown location, opposite the railway station(s) and quite close to the Sule Pagoda and Bogyoke market. The rooms I stayed in on two occasions were clean and tidy, but would have benefited from a) some towels!, b) a working air con, c) something in the fridge/minibar. The whole place seemed a... More

The very friendly staff, fabulous location and excellent value for money makes this hotel the ideal place to stay in Yangon. This hotel self rates as a 3 star but their service goes way beyond that. It is close to the central railway station and within walking distance to many of the city's attractions. The rooms are spotlessly clean and... More

Clean big room, really nice views, breakfast was fine on the top floor and we had lunch one day which was nice, good wifi connection, only stayed one night, bathroom clean and light, elevators in order, near night markets, would recommend this hotel

This hotel is very institutionalised. They simply follow an old process and there's little effort to keep it vital. The rooms are quite good. The floor lift lobbies are dirty and neglected on many floors. Definite lack of management attention. The twin lift can be problematic with delays in service. The 14th floor restaurant has a great view of the... More

This hotel is perfectly placed for a visit to Yangong and not far from the railway station. A mid class tourist/business hotel it is perfectly acceptable for its class. Staff very friendly but the decor is a little dated and tired. Yangong is still developing in terms of its tourism product so there is not much in the way of... More

This hotel served us well for two nights. Large clean room and bathroom with a good shower (no bath). Pleasant reception area and great views from the rooftop restaurant which also has an outside terrace. You can buy cold drinks from staff who unlock the fridge and then take them out on the terrace and enjoy the view over Yangon.... More

We stayed here for one night prior to joining a tour. The staff were friendly and welcoming and all spoke English. The concierge was particularly helpful as he escorted us to our room. The room was a good size and included easy chairs and a coffee table. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well as free wifi.... More

The place is clean and basic, true, but it's clean, the staff is very friendly and nice, it's good located, close to everything and a supermarket is just 2 minutes walk from the Hotel. So that's true that maybe in some other SE Asian capitals you would pay less for same quality but all the accommodations in Yangon are overpriced,... More
