This hotel served us well for two nights. Large clean room and bathroom with a good shower (no bath). Pleasant reception area and great views from the rooftop restaurant which also has an outside terrace. You can buy cold drinks from staff who unlock the fridge and then take them out on the terrace and enjoy the view over Yangon.... More

We stayed two times within a week. Definition of star rating remain unknown to me perhaps locally different to China . The breakfast at 14F : Variation of hot items during breakfast time are limited . Bathroom : Shower pipe are extremely short and leaked the water to the floor. Generally it is not a recommended Hotel from my point... More

We stayed here for one night prior to joining a tour. The staff were friendly and welcoming and all spoke English. The concierge was particularly helpful as he escorted us to our room. The room was a good size and included easy chairs and a coffee table. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well as free wifi.... More

The place is clean and basic, true, but it's clean, the staff is very friendly and nice, it's good located, close to everything and a supermarket is just 2 minutes walk from the Hotel. So that's true that maybe in some other SE Asian capitals you would pay less for same quality but all the accommodations in Yangon are overpriced,... More

Hotels in Yangon can be pricey and extremely out of value for what you pay. This is actually a fairly well priced hotel, with descent service, location and quality of rooms. Still a little under what I would want to pay for Yangon, but not as over priced as some other locations I have stayed. Again - best part of... More

I stayed in room 526 which had been renovated relatively recently. The bathroom was a bit tired, but hot water was always on. The bedroom was clean, plastic/wooden flooring, flat screen TV, a King Size and a single bed. Air con works, wifi intermittent except in the lobby. Breakfast is asian basic fried rice, noodles, water melon, rather good coffee,... More

The hotel has a convenient location for exploring the centre of Yangon, although c 40 min drive from the airport. It is also near the station if you choose to catch the slow circular train which is an interesting way of getting to other parts of the city. The hotel itself is in need of a refurb to bring it... Room good size, on eighth floor, bathroom OK, beds a little hard but not bad, WiFi in room but keeps cutting out which is very annoying. Staff friendly and efficient. No complaints although breakfast not very exciting. No trouble with linen or towels and cleanser delightful. We stayed at this hotel again a few days later, this time facing away... More

Asia Plaza is in an excellent location - right next to Yangon's main railway station and within walking distance of shops and the historic downtown area. Unfortunately, in typical Myanmar style, the hotel itself is below third rate. There as part of an intrepid tour, we witnessed a family of rats running through the dining room/kitchen with impunity and could... More

this basic hotel had clean, very large rooms with basic amenities. The breakfast buffet was varied and pleasant, and is located on the rooftop, which had good views. It is not in the glitzy part of town, but one can walk to the Bogyoke ("Scott") market and the harbor area. Taxis are cheap and always around this hotel. Some bathrooms... More
