this basic hotel had clean, very large rooms with basic amenities. The breakfast buffet was varied and pleasant, and is located on the rooftop, which had good views. It is not in the glitzy part of town, but one can walk to the Bogyoke ("Scott") market and the harbor area. Taxis are cheap and always around this hotel. Some bathrooms... More

We booked into this hotel prior to our Intrepid tour, and was booked for a night at the end of the tour as well. First nights we were in the front of the hotel which is the older section. The last night we were in the new section out the back. Front of hotel views are the best, while the... More

It's a 3-star hotel in Myanmar, which means that the rooms are large enough, the service is wonderful, the staff are VERY friendly and super helpful, the linen is crisp, everything is clean... and the bathroom is slightly comical. Actually, that's unfair. We stayed here twice recently. Our first room was enormous but the bathroom was an odd layout and... More

The hotel is situated next to the city center, it only takes a few minutes to walk there. Staff is friendly and trying hard to make your stay pleasant. However, upgrading the rooms to the standards of this time would be better. The rooms are quite dark and a lot of noise from the street comes in. Good beds though,... More

This is a 3 star hotel but well worthwhile. It is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Room are a good size and comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet and the breakfast was adequate but more suited to Asian cuisine.

We stopped in this hotel on 2 ocassions, once at the beginning of our trip and we had a room on the 8th floor which was very dated and have very olf furnishings and a bit of a smelly carpet. In the second ocassion we stopped on the 13th floor where the rooms were much better and appeared to have... More

we had booked through Booking.com before we read about the bed bug issue....so this became a real worry prior to our arrival. We did mention the matter and our concern , but received a big smile and got an excellent room, renovated, clean and quiet (1008, twin). Breakfast buffet was great: tasty and enough variety. We had problems with our next... More

Really enjoyed staying in hotel. It's my first time in Burma. Recommend you visit Ruby's Market for food supplies and essential. Wifi in your room is a bonus. Must do take lift ride with a good camera. Views out room window amazing. Staff very helpful

This hotel was recommended by Intrepid. They use this hotel as part of their tour package. We were told by Intrepid that it was a nice 3 star hotel. The place was run down and dusty. There were Mosquitos in the lobby area. There were no facilities that you would expect from a 3 star hotel, such as, a restaurant,... More

As others have said, this is in a good location, but needs some love. We stayed with a tour group in the unrenovated wing at the beginning of our tour and the other wing across the hotel reception at the end of 2 weeks. Both rooms were a good size. The new rooms still have plastic on the mattress and... More
