Decent location, surrounded by restaurants, and an overall functional property with no real frills. Rooms could do with a renovation. Slack maintenance work, which showed by the room bathroom doorknob coming off in my hands, trapping me inside the bathroom for nearly an hour. Staff was helpful and courteous later, upgraded me to a suite, but that was a scary... More

The rooms are comfortable,as is the bathroom.Breakfast is tasty and varied.Eat your other meals outside the hotel unless you enjoy extra, extra slow service.Very popular disco on the weekends. Great and clean pool. Some of the taxi drivers at the hotel were wonderful, but some tried to rip you off.

Known as the best hotel in town, it is overbooked most of the time. Air France crew stays there so as most of the business travelers. Overall the hotel is well maintained and the air con in the lobby is pretty good. The rooms are a bit old designed, but bed is good quality. the air con makes an awful... More

This is likely the only real 5-star hotel in town. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the pool is great. The rest is really just average: the staff at the reception is pretty unfriendly and incompetent, room service is minimal and things in general poorly maintained. Maybe most annoying if you are trying to stay connected is the WIFI... More

The Olympic Palace is a 5 star hotel. Lots of luxury which can be a bit contrasting with some of the Congolese poverty you'll see elsewhere in the town / country. Still, if you need a high-end base in town, near to Ministries, this is a very nice place to be. Even the basic room is large with a 3-person... More

Stay 3 nights for a business trip in Brazzaville. The hotel is close enough to the airport for a quick pickup/drop off. Lobby is clean, check in was quick enough. The room is large, clean bed, large desk and a working flat screen TV with international channel. Rest room is clean, with spacious shower room (no bath tub though). The... More

Spent two nights here. Bedroom was excellent, well appointed comfortable. Had a formal meal and dinner in the restaurant. Food was very good. The buffet was good with high quality food. Ate by myself the following night. Had pasta food good. The waiter however was a bit surly unlike the rest of the staff I came across. Breakfast buffet was... More

Owing to previous reviews from 2011 I was a little apprehensive at being booked into this hotel. Well as an up to date review I found this hotel to be very welcoming and clean. No sign of previously mentioned issues, the bathrooms have recently been upgraded and they do now have a gym. The staff were very welcoming and the... More

I stayed at this hotel twice (2009 and 2011). The hotel has nice premises (for Congo) and venues are celebrated every single day during my 2 weeks stay (it is a gold mine for its owners). For food, they now have an overpriced (but good) lebanese restaurant. Swimming pool is ok (and only way to do exercise). Now the bad... More

The Olympic Palace Hotel is marked as the best hotel in the town and offers free wifi but does not have a fitness center :( The breakfast buffet is pretty minimal and so is recommended to carry your own snacks. Running outside the hotel even for 1.2 miles made me feel very dry so pretty much resort to plyometrics and... More
