One of the best hotels in town but very expensive like everything in Kinshasa. Security is good but don't take a walk outside the hotel at night !!!! Take a cab to travel in town and inform yourself in advance !!!

I was really happy to be in Memling after two days that i spent in another hotel in Kindhasa (I will not name the other hotel). Memling is a great place to be in Kinshasa. Nice rooms, comfortable, clean and safe. The room key that allows you to access only your floor makes the Hotel very safe. The internet is a... More

If on business, the central location is perhaps the main advantage of this place that appears to be living off of its old glory. Service is inconsistent, internet unreliable, overall everything seems overpriced- the hotel is just not making the effort to remain competitive or cater to business needs, which is surprising as there are more and more alternatives popping... Hotel is tired, but very clean, and with good service. Restaurant quality is reasonable, with breakfast good, without much variety. Among the best of the available choices, and good location. Staff are multilingual.

Booked my room on the internet but when I checked out I had two charges for the room, one from the management company in Belgium and the other by the local hotel operator for my five nights stay. Food was great, had high floor in the back - quiet clean - great staff. Breakfast outstanding. Will stay there again on... More

One of the best in Kinshasa I guess. Rooms are clean, staff can speak relatively good English, food is good. Nice pool! The Memling is definitely not cheap and their air port transfers are $60 per person one way. Not keen on going back to Kinshasa in a hurry but should I find the urge to return, the Memling it... The hotel is nice: Rooms are ok and restaurants (eg. breakfast) and bar are very good. Fitness room is rather poor. The swimming pool is ok, but the restaurant tables are located around it. 3 negative points: 1. bathroom sink and bath contained some black hairs 2. The 2 treadmills are broken. The left one gives an error and stops... More

I spent a week at the Memling recently for business purposes. The hotel is very well run, rooms are clean and reasonably modern, staff is efficient and pleasant and the restaurant by the pool offers some surprising items. I am mostly talking about Cossa Cossa, consisting of fresh water shrimp which I was told come from the Congo river, cooked... More

I was in Kinshasa for business and stay there for 3 nights. Since I live and stay in the other part of DRC, I did expect more since this is the capital city. I can say, the hotel is tired/old and need help for some refurbishment; however, I can say the breakfast is decent enough, and the staff is trying... More
