Stayed here for a week last year and I gotta say I am not looking forward to coming back here anytime. The hotel is one of the biggest in Kinshasa and VERY expensive but surely not worth your dollar! Service is very average and you will struggle with the staff if you do not know French. There are hardly 2-3... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. in the "new" wing. The Hotel is central, in what is considered Kinshasa CBD (i.e. Gombe district). Room was surprisingly big for a single. Guys at the reception are just to slow, it took us 30min to check in! Service OK.....for DRC Excellent breakfast!

I don't know who gave this hotel five stars, but they probably left with an envelope full of fivers after their stay...this really was the worst experience I've had in Africa to date. I know that there is limited choice in Kinshasa, but if you can, choose somewhere else. It's expensive and you get nothing for your money. My review:... More

I read reviews from 2014 and 2013 and it seems as this hotel just gets worse. Elevators don't work and I'm surprised no one has gotten stuck or something worse hasn't happened yet. There are no safety measures for this hotel. I have been travelling in Africa for the past 10 years I have lived in West and East and... More

Hotel is over priced (ALLOT), rooms are not clean and I slept on top of the covers. Room door didn't lock and didn't close properly making you feel unsafe. Food at restaurant down stairs is at least double the price anywhere else in town. And the night club is a scary with local working girls that will not leave you... More

This is probably the best you will get in Kinshasa and the staff are very helpful and informative.the only place... More

Used to be a great intercontinental hotel, has tremendously deteriorating, although some erratic renovation are under way, some for the rooms for example are welcomed, still below the expected quality for such range of hotel and price.

This hotel may once of bee a 5* hotel but that was a very long time ago! I know this is Africa but you don't expect cockroaches in your room on the 14th floor in a supposed 5* hotel. The furniture in the room was very old and tied and there was a musty smell everywhere. No tea or coffee... More

I stayed for two nights. It's expensive just like anything else in Kinshasa, but you can negotiate the price with the reception (This is Africa). The breakfast was fine, the room was excellent. I didn't have any real problems except for two lizards who fell just in front of me when I was looking for a taxi at the entrance.... More

This was my first stay in Kinshasa so I cannot compare this property with others in the city. The rooms are dated but comfortable and they are kept spotlessly clean.Pillows are very hard. Pressure in shower was good but I was only on fifth floor. There is an decent sized gym but only two of the treadmills are of the... More
