On our recent trip to Vanuatu we decided to do our introductory dive, we chose Tranquilty, best idea we had that day. We were the only people on our tour (a frequent occurrence for us in this lovely country) and the attention we received was marvellous. Tommi our dive instructor was patient and knowledgable. We completed 2 dives that day... More

My wife and I were the only people to do a dive this day, which made for a great learning session. Tomi was great and was very patient with us and quickly put us at ease. The diving was great and the coral and fish were amazing. This dive experience has made us think that we should do more formal... More

I visited the Tranquility Island Resort in Dec 2013 and stayed for 10 nights. My partner and I are both dive instructors and wanted a relaxing 'Robinson Crusoe' getaway with unspoilt reefs to snorkel and dive and we were not disappointed. Having seen so much damage to the reefs in Thailand and Indonesia I wanted to see if Vanuatu was... More

So pleased to hear that you are coming back for another stay. Knowing that you are both in the diving / accommodation and boating arena adds to your comments as your holiday with us is similar to what you do every day for others. Looking forward to your return. More

We went diving with tranquility dive this week (31.12.2013). There was a dive club staying on the island (about 10 divers) and we certainly felt like just being extra easy money for the island managers who didn't seem to bother about us. Firstly I would like to say that the Ni-Van staff, especially Tomi our DM were extremely friendly and... More

As I mentioned in reply to your email to me, we normally use another boat for those dive sites, but not that day. Also the managers do not normally problems with guests as you can see from other reviews. Your general comments though have been pointed out to them to take note of. We will also reintroduce some of our... More

In total there was 5 of us staying in 3 of the "Fares". To just say the island is beautiful probably doesn't do it justice. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone happy; diving, awesome snorkelling, kayaking, walking and swimming. An early morning snorkel just metres from the Fares followed by a cooked breakfast is a pretty special way... More

We recently travelled to Tranquillity Island as we do annually with a group of Yr 11 marine students. Because of the amazing location and pristine marine environment, the great staff that make every effort to look after staff and students, and the long list of activities that make this a memorable destination. Resort Managers Andy and Carol are a wonderful... More

we went on tranquility after staying with locals on another island. We thought it was expensive but we heard so much about it we wanted to try it ourselves. It was horrible. The accommodation was certainly not up to the price we paid (about 300$ for a night stay) the bed was awful and the food was worse. We practically... More

I stayed at Tranquility Island in late June. It's quite a different type of place - very basic but quite nature focused. I was there primarily to dive. It was generally very quiet although there are generally 'day trippers' come in and visit the turtle sanctuary. The staff are really good and I really enjoyed my time diving. Vanuatu I... More

We stayed at Tranquillity Resort in Oct and found the place to be exactly what we were looking for. We were there with the previous review family written by Joanne O and I can only ditto what Jo wrote. The managers Andy and Carol made us feel so welcome and it was hard to believe that they had only just... More

As mentioned for the guests who stayed there just before you, if you fit into Tranquillity's back to nature plus theme it can be as much or as little as you want. The person you spoke of who had been many times before has been there five times during the last twelve months or so. Pleased you enjoyed your stay. More
