Fatumaru Lodge has a great pool area with a fantastic views of Fatumaru Bay. Having the jetty and pontoon at our door was really nice with free use of kayaks and fishing rods. The room was really good value and it was nice having the water splashing against the front of our unit. The lodge is close to town whilst... More

Magic. Stayed here one night when I needed a place to stay in Port Vila (the water got turned off in my house!!). Anyway, this is easily the best place I've stayed in Vila. While it's not exactly cheap, considering the size of the rooms, the quality of the fittings, and the views over the bay, it's definitely good value.... More

I stayed here for about 12 nights and was very pleased with the location, ambience, and staff. It is a 15 minute walk from town, which is perfect. 4 of the rooms have, as a porch, a little beach leading out to the harbor, on which you can kayak for free and as long as you want. The rooms are... More

On a recommendation from neighbours, my husband and I stayed at the wonderful Fatumaru Lodge Port Vila for a week in June 08. Absolutely magic - a little gem. The service was top class. The view from our room was picturesque, you step off the plane on this wonderful island and you are on holiday. Friendly approachable people who are... More

A great location - close to town, but just far enough to feel a million miles away! It was great to canoe into town. Mele Bay water is beautiful, clean and inviting. The room is large and well furnished, the bathroom excellent. Only the kitchen is slightly too cramped, but adequate. Buying fresh produce at the market and cooking oneself... More

We spent one week at this lodge in July 2009, in a studio with ocean view. At the beginning I was afraid that it was too far from the town, but in fact, it is at a walking distance (about 15 minutes). If we ask questions about Efate and Vanuatu, Patricia and Pascal, the french owners, answer easily. The other... More

We stayed in a self-contained seaside room; it was close to town, 10 min walk or 2 min bus but still a peaceful and quiet location. Our room had a great view over the bay and was self-contained so we could cook a few meals our selves to keep the costs down. Kayaks are free to use and we enjoyed... More

Fantastic location & lovely hotel. We stayed in a self contained seaside room which was beautifully furnished with our own private balcony. Situated on a very peaceful little bay just far enough from the city centre to be quiet, but also close enough to walk to the major shopping district. With amazing fresh food markets close-by, it is great to... More
