We enjoyed a week at Fatumaru Lodge in one of the rooms upstairs overlooking the water. The Lodge is small and friendly with well maintained rooms and gardens about 15 minutes walk into town. There are several great restaurants nearby - Chinese, Thai, French and the breakfasts by the pool were a highlight of our stay, especially the croissants and... More

My husband booked Fatumaru Lodge on line as a surprise anniversary getaway. It is perfect, a small boutique lodge, quiet and peaceful, you can do as little or as much as you like with swimming in the pool or lagoon with kayaks and paddle boards available. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

Stayed here for week in this lovely place. Staff were great at organising tours for us and info on the various nearby restaurants especially as our flights were delayed and our luggage arrive 3 days later.and we had to get clothes etc. Our 1st floor apartment was well appointed and had great views down the bay. The water was bit... More

We had two nights there as we were spending most our time at Tanna Island. If I was staying longer at Port Vila, Faturamu would be the place I would choose. The setting is peaceful, secure and surrounded by friendly helpful staff.

We were very happy with our stay here, awesome friendly staff. We stayed in the wala room upstairs and it had a great view, serviced every day and just a quick hop into town 150vt per person and far enough away from town centre to avoid the noise. We are already planning on staying here again on our return and are... More

Fatumaru Lodge is located right on the beach, on the main road from the airport in to Port Vila. It is a 10 minute walk in to the centre of town or a V150 per person bus ride. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a lovely pool and there are kayaks and paddle boards you can use for... More

We stayed here for 7 nights at the end of July, the week before Independence day. Comfortable, clean accommodation with great staff. Good walk into town with lots of nice eateries along the way. We didn't have breakfast due to the cost (travelling on a budget). Definately not a swimming beach, but nice lookout from room. We experienced lots of... More

Dear Guest Thank you for, your comments, YES Independence day in Vanuatu is not one day but more 8 days & NIGHTS of celebration. This is a new country very proud to have decolonized and this is absolutely true that it was noisy. Lot of parties around, music travel very well on water...and we are WATERFRONT!!! apologies for this noise out... More

We stayed at Fatumaru for 1.5 nights having arrived from Melbourne at 2am. The proximity to the airport makes this a great stopover hotel, as the taxi fare is very inexpensive (don't bother with an overpriced 'transfer'). We stayed in one of the upper units and there is some road noise, and of course (being Vanuatu) some dog and rooster... More

Stayed with my now husband and 13 month old baby for a trip for our wedding. We were looked after superbly by all the staff at Fatumaru, and really enjoyed such a relaxed and quiet place to stay. It was easy to flag down a bus at the top of the driveway and head in to town, or it was... More

We stayed at Fatumaru for one night on our way to Aore Island. It is very well located on the way from the airport and far enough out of the hustle and bustle of Port Vila town. We stayed in one of the units at the rear of the property and couldn't fault it. Minimal road noise, very well equipped... More
