I stayed at Kaiviti as part of a group for 3 weeks. The staff were all beautiful people who were very considerate of our needs. Our room was cleaned and made up daily and the bar staff were lovely. The pool area was always clean which was perfect for our daily Arvo swims. It's close to the supermarket and a... More

Nice staff, clean, but after my second stay there i promise myself not to come back again. The cheapness and bad tone of the owners is simply fascinating. Claiming they can't call a taxi only to learn that they are trying to save a penny on the phone call, insinuating that they will call police on people having a quiet... More

Dear Oscarresenaren, Thank you for taking the time to review on Trip Advisor. Yes, we do have a policy of not calling taxis as there isn’t a central number to book one. The staff end up ringing several taxis, getting answering services and then the guest has to wait only to find that they do not turn up. It is... More

The Kaiviti is in a pretty good location to access parts of Port Vila. 10 minute walk to shopping, dining and bars one way, and a 5 minute walk the other way to a large supermarket which has everything. It was a fairly quiet area, although there were renovation works going on when I stayed which was a bit noisy... More

Dear Keith, Thank you for your feedback. We now have 9 Executives and 9 standard studios that have been renovated. Work has already commenced on the 2 bedroom apartments and they should all have new bathrooms early next year. We look forward to welcoming you back if you head this way. More

Well equipped for self catering, spacious, close to town, good view of the harbour. The owners, staff and security people very helpful and friendly. The rain water tanks for fresh drinking water were a nice touch. We were given free wifi because we stayed for a month.

We checked in pretty late to Kaiviti, and Ashlea was pretty darned great. She met us at the gate, got us to our rooms, confirmed our 4:45am transfers and booked us in for a fabulous night at the waterfront. We were booked through a wholesaler for just a nights accommodation, fairly last minute, and we did well with Kaiviti to... More

We had a delightful week at the Kaiviti Motel recently. Following Cyclone Pam, in March, there had been much devastation and destruction in and around Port Vila and surrounding villages. However, Kaiviti survived well and was a safe and happy place as we reached out to those in need. Our self-contained unit was clean, comfortable and well cared for by... More

For those of you have stayed here before, you'll be pleased to know the old girl is in the midst of a facelift and is well worth getting reacquainted with. From my first stay here back in the late 90s, it was sad to see the place get rundown but the new owners are doing a great job in the... More

Clean , good location, a bit expensive. The rooms are large, with AC . The beds are good. The kitchen has all the basic stuff, refrigerator, oven.,etc.. The swimming pool is nice. The staff was nice and welcome.

I suppose that a hotel can be more than just a hotel when we face a disastrous situation. The owners and staff of Kaiviti Motel in Port Vila did an excellent job of looking after their guests when Port Vila was hit by Cyclone Pam and in the aftermath of the cyclone. They ensured as much as possible that the... More

I booked myself and 2 young children into the Kaiviti Motel on the 11th March, 2 days before Vanuatu was hit by an extremely destructive cyclone. I had stayed at the Kaiviti a few years before but was very pleased to note the extensive renovations that had been done since my last stay. Upon arrival I was advised by management... More
