A very special place for a holiday. Freindly staff are only to willing to assist in any way they can. Thanks Hayley for your help booking tours and making suggestions on what to do. The Tuesday night feast and music on site is well worth attending. The local band made the night. We will be back to stay again soon.... more

Pros- * Wonderful wonderful people. They'll look after you every step of the way, and be like family by the time you leave. (Special thanks to Natalie & Hayley). * Good food - try the pancakes & banana split! * Well kept grounds & good location (Trust me, you don't really want to be based in the centre of town)... more

We decided to elope and chose Vanuatu. After extensive research (including reviews from trip advisor) and recommendations we chose Poppys as our wedding and honeymoon location. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Hayley at Reception. Shortly after we were taken to our accomodation which was a Bure right on the lagoon. Fresh flowers had been beautifully placed... more

Booked the resort online after we read a few of these reviews and we were not disappointed in the least. From the moment we arrived at the resort, the staff and owners were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The accommodation ( and we were lucky enough to try a couple of different types) was clean, had stunning views... more

We knew we were in for something special as soon as the huge, and new melenesian tours bus rolled down the (steep) drive to poppys on the lagoon. A small resort, with lovely tropical gardens awaited us. We were staying a night in the large beacfront cottages, ver big, they can sleep up to 6, and we felt a little... more

My wife and I had never been to Vanuatu before although we have travelled widely. We were met at the International airport by Melanesian Tours and taken to Poppys. We stayed in a 2 bedroom (I snore!) Lagoon Suite. Our accommodation was of a good standard with a great lagoon view. We certainly enjoyed the gardens which are kept in... more

When we got to Poppys our first impression was a green, green garden with the blue water of the lagoon through the coconut trees. The place seemed very quiet and we were surprised after talking to the staff and other guests to realise it was full, it did not have the hustle and bustle of other places we visited later... more

Stayed at Poppys during our 10 night holiday. We were very convieniently picked up from the airport at midnight in the resort bus and shown to our beachfront bungalow. The accommodation was excellent, fully self contained, clean and serviced daily, the bungalows are right on the lagoon beach which isn't much to rave about itself, very rocky & weedy and... more

All Of Our Family Stayed With Poppys For a Week . We had great service from the staff and the place is wonderfully run by the managers and their wonderful staff. Wonderful outlook over the lagoon. Maybe need to emphasise the amount of steps to the top studios 64 in all. We had to change to ground level as our... more

My friend and I have just returned from a 7 night trip to Vanuatu and spent 5 nights at Poppy's. We stayed in a gardenview bungalow which was well furnished, clean and located right in front was the adult only pool. The room has 2 fans, everything you need for making meals including a microwave and bar fridge. The resort... more
