This is a very charming & intimate resort. The Bungalows are very spacious and close to all the amenities such as the restaurant & pools. We had one which over looked a lagoon which was a great vista from our balcony. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is terrific. We ate there most nights and the variety... We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday at Mangoes Resort Vanuatu. From the moment we arrived we found the staff to be warm and welcoming. Our Lagoon view bungalow was comfortable, private and clean. All the meals we had in the Mangoes Restaurant were of a very high standard as were the choice of wines. At the end... More

The bright side: A lovely bungalow, very comfortable bed, bathroom with reliably hot water, tiled floor, comfortable armchairs, and a kettle and fridge. TV provided too. So - all expected things, in a tastefully decorated room - very high ceiling (pyramid type roof, lined with wood), and very spacious. The not so bright side - while the food is very... More

I don't write reviews but Mangoes is worthy of it. 3rd visit here and never disappointed. The resort survived cyclone Pam, is fully operational and in good condition. Located in a quiet residential area overlooking a lagoon, an easy 15 min walk to town or taxi and bus are available. Sadly many resorts are still closed. There are new managers... More

Individual villas set on a well landscaped slope overlooking the lagoon, the resort is an attractive place to stay in Port Vila. I was particularly impressed by the new manager who literally went the extra mile (actually two!) when a cruise ship arrived in the harbour and I was going to be late for a meeting. He immediately offered to... More

A first class accommodation! All the staff are very friendly, the rooms are beautifully clean, its just far enough out of town to be quiet and relaxing but not too far to go into town when needed. We will definitely be staying there again. Thankyou guys

My husband an I stay here for eight nights. We decided after the resort we were meant to stay at was closed due to cyclone Pam. We chose this resort as it has a no children policy and we were holidaying without our kids. Mangoes is a beautiful Resort, staff are extremely friendly especially Karl, he makes the best cocktails... More

We were transferred to Mangoes as our booked resort was closed and we couldn't have been happier. The wait and room staff are fantastic and the Bure pool lagoon view perfect. Close to town to walk or catch bus and a tour agent calls at the resort to assist with bookings or general advice each day. Happy Hour cocktails every... More

Mangoes was a great find amongst my accom hopping. If it had two bedroom available I would have stayed another week. It's a pleasant 10min walk into town or you maybe lucky enough to get a B bus zoom past the front door and jump in for 1.50 vatu per person, alternatively 500 for a taxi. The attractive part of... If a beach is not important than this is a great place to stay. We stayed in a lagoon view and were pleased we did as other units looking over the gardens and pools did not have a lot of private sitting area. with the lagoon view your balcony is overlooking the lagoon. It is just a 10 minute walk... More
