My wife and I went to Port Vila for a short break (3 nights). We were picked up from the sirport in a private car and taken straight to our bungalow overlooking the lagoon. A really nice personal way to check in. The room was well appointed and clean although it was quite old. The hotel has done a great... more

We just got back from le meridian Port Vila, and after reading some of the negative reviews we were pleasantly surprised. The resort was great, the deluxe lagoon rooms in the Banyan Wing were good, the staff went out of their way to help and even remembered our names, and the kids club was outstanding. My wife and I spent... more

This is a very nice hotel for the region. My wife especially liked the good looking doorman dressed like a island chief. The casino is not much but the staff is very nice. The drinks are a little pricey, so go to the local store and get some Tuscars, the local beer. more

I was about to change my reservation at this hotel after hearing the bad reviews about this place. I am glad i did not. I got a special rate through this hotel as a result of being a starwood prefferred guest. I stayed in a garden view room, which unfortunately faced the front of the hotel taxi rank, and not... more

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the past 3 years, and am always surprised at how bad the reviews seem to be. Both stays, once for a week with some girlfriends, and once for 3 days with my husband, were extremely enjoyable. The facilities are very good, the pools are never full and cleaned daily, the gardens lovely,... more

Ideal for families and good value for money. Accommodation, facilities and service were all well above average for Vanuatu. Management and Staff were extremely friendly and fantastic with children. Breakfast buffet could be a little better - other meals were truly superb and well priced - use happy hour for drinks! Our family of 5 had a great holiday experience.... more

We stayed for ten days at the end of March 2009. Our group consisted of two families of two adults and two children 9-10 years old. We arrived late at night and the room we were allocated had the wrong bedding configuration. We moved to another room for the night and relocated to our suite the following day. The staff... more

Following the cancellation of our flight we stayed at Le Meridien for 2 nights (meals and accommodation payed for by Pacific Blue, thank you!) The check in was slow but then everything in Vanuatu is.Our room was nice, like you would expect in a hotel at home. The 2 pools were pretty average with deck chairs and umbrellas surrounding the pool. The life... more

A party of about 20 people (including myself) were staying here for a week, for a wedding that was to be organised by, and held at; the resort. About 12 of us checked in at the same time; about 1am, and the process took about an hour all up. I was staying in a garden view room, which is the... more

We stayed at Le Meridien for the last night of our honeymoon, wanting a bit of luxury and we were sorely disappointed. The resort itself is nice enough, with good guest amenities including two swimming pools, catamarans, kayaks and tennis court. However it is quite tired looking and in need of a facelift. The room was the main issue that... more
