Another fabulous trip to Aquana. What a special place. I think my heart beat slows as soon as I get there. First night there I had a pasta dish with lobster, crab and fresh herbs. Amazing!!! Kids had a ball. It amazes me that the nannies are so good with little kids but at the same time can " chill... More

Aquana is really lovely - idyllic setting and super friendly staff. It only has 15 units so is small enough to feel quite personal (& to often have their gorgeous beach area to yourselves!) We made great use of the kayaks to explore the beautiful deserted islands nearby, which had surprisingly good snorkelling. The nannies were really fantastic - only... More

We spent 6 nights here over Christmas and can honestly say it was the best holiday we have had. The kids (ages 8 and 10) had a ball with the nannies. They were so caring and helpful. The food was amazing - especially the seafood. Thank you Aquana we will definitely be back :)

Wow Aquana certainly lives upto it's reputation! From the moment you walk in the door you are looked after personally by the fabulous staff and kids whisked off by the wonderful nannies. the resort setting is beautiful and relaxing, the bungalows are clean and comfortable. We had a beachfront bungalow which was fantastic to look out over the lagoon and... More

We recently stayed at Aquana Resort (Nov 2014) with our 2 children (9 and 6). This is a slice of heaven on earth. Right from our arrival we felt at home, we were greeted by the nannies and given a tour by the owners, the kids were off playing within 3mins of arriving. What sets Aquana from the others is... This was a wonderful resort! The nanny system is a wonderful balance of quality time with your kids with lots of breaks throughout the day. Thank you to Valerie and Christina who spent countless occasions with my 2 toddlers. The food was excellent, we only ate elsewhere twice, and regretted it both times!! The bungalows are big, tidy, new, private... More

The rooms are great and the food is amazing (best we had in Vanuatu). The staff were really helpful too, nothing was too much trouble. The views are stunning and we had such an enjoyable time just kayaking around or playing on the beach. We never thought our 2.5 year old would separate himself from us for a moment but... More

We can not speak highly enough about our stay at Aquana Beach Resort. The staff will bend over backwards to help you in any way they can.We approached them many times to organise last minute island tours, volcano tours and shopping trips and we were accommodated every time. Valerie and her wonderful group of nannies made our daughter's and our stay... More

Having visiting the pacific islands a number of times before having children, our best experiences where always at the smaller, low key resorts (vs large hotel chains). This was primarily because you are able to get to know the staff, owners and other guests and genuinely experience the pacific's number 1 attraction - the friendliness and hospitality of the local... Dear lord. What an amazing seafood selection. It costs $12,500 Vatu ($160NZD roughly) but it's a real treat. We contemplated it for a few nights & finally did it. No regrets. Oysters, scallops (huge!), prawns, lobster, calamari, salmon, fish salad & fresh crumbed fish. It was huge and we struggled to eat it all. But we did. So good. Absolutely... More
